SAUSAGE AND CHEESE CRESCENT SQUARES
Nice appetizer that is also easy to make. I often use the cream cheese with chives instead of the plain cream cheese.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 375°F
- Unroll 1 can of dough into 2 long rectangles and place in ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust.
- Brown sausage and onion in large frying pan over medium heat until thoroughly cooked, remove sausage from the frying pan and discard the fat.
- Add cream cheese to same frying pan and cook over low heat until melted.
- Add cooked sausage, stir to coat, add the chopped sage if using.
- Spoon evenly over crust in baking dish and sprinkle with the cheese.
- Unroll the second can of dough on work surface.
- Press to form 13x9-inch rectangle, firmly press perforations to seal and carefully place over cheese.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes then cut into squares.

- Heat oven to 375°F.

- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In medium skillet, brown ground beef and sausage together. Drain off any grease
- Melt velveta cheese in mixing bowl in microwave.
- Add browned ground beef, sausage, worcestershire sauce and oregano to melted cheese and mix well.
- On a cookie sheet or baking stone, arrange pieces of bread.
- Scoop mixture (about 1 tablespoon) onto each piece of bread.
- Bake for 10 minutes. If frozen, bake for 20 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 375°. In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink; drain. Place in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Layer with cheeses, onion, chiles and jalapeno if desired. In a bowl, beat eggs and seasonings. Pour over cheese. , Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 18-22 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes; cut into 1-in. squares.

SAUSAGE SANDWICH SQUARES
Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add the salt, remaining water and 2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a firm dough. ( I mix this in my KitchenAid with dough hook.
- 2. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 50 minutes.
- 3. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. In the drippings, saute peppers and onion until tender; drain.
- 4. Press half of the dough onto the bottom and 1/2 in. up the sides of a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Spread sausage evenly over the crust. Top with peppers and onion. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Roll out remaining dough to fit pan; place over cheese and seal the edges.
- 5. In a small bowl, beat egg and water. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Brush over dough. Cut slits in top. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares.
SAUSAGE SQUARES
These are good for a brunch buffet along with some sort of an egg casserole.You can also cut them into smaller square to serve as appetizers.This can also be made in advance and frozen.
