SHERRY-SANGRIA COCKTAILS
Sherry comes in many styles that vary in body and color. This cocktail calls for amontillado, which is light and naturally dry -- a savory contrast to sweet, seasonal fruit. Chill the concoction as you prepare dinner. The fruit will set, and the fortified wine will take on its flavor.

- Combine sherry, Cointreau, and fruit in a pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes.
- Serve over ice.
SHERRY COCKTAIL

- Shake vodka, sherry, and orange juice with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
EASY SHERRY AND VERMOUTH COCKTAIL
This easy two-ingredient cocktail is best served over a nice, large chunk of ice. Amontillado sherry adds a nutty flavor while white vermouth adds fruitiness.

- In a double rocks glass with large-format ice, combine the sherry and vermouth. Stir to incorporate and chill all ingredients. Garnish with expressed lemon and orange twists.

Steps:
- Put the fruit in the bottom of a cocktail shaker and bruise it with a muddler or the end of a bar spoon to release some of the juice. Add the sherry and sugar syrup if using.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard. This will extract more juices from the fruit and dilute the drink.
- Strain into a highball glass, filled with fresh ice and garnish with a slice of orange or lemon and a piece of pineapple.
