1/3 cup molasses , or sorghum molasses
1/4 cup vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 dash salt

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

2 teaspoons black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons ground sage
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked salt
1 1/8 teaspoons allspice
3/4 teaspoon new mexico chile powder
3/4 teaspoon cumin powder
3/4 teaspoon ground mustard
3/4 teaspoon paprika
3/8 teaspoon celery salt
3/8 teaspoon cinnamon
3/8 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients well and simmer until desired consistency and flavor is reached, stirring often with wooden spoon.
  • Cool and serve.
  • Store refrigerated in sealed container.

Good sauce for chicken or pork. I changed the original recipe to lower the sodium count by using low sodium catsup and added 1 cup of water.

1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Use as you would with any recipes calling for BBQ sauce.
