Who doesn't like sandwiches, and when it comes to making tiffin recipes for kids or carrying high tea snacks for picnics, sandwiches are the best options thought! Del Monte brings sandwich spread that can now be collaborated with any veg or non veg sandwich filling which makes some amazing and delicious grilled sandwiches. Spinach blanched and chopped then teamed with some corn kernels when mix with Del Monte Sandwich spread makes a flavorful, filling and a healthy tiffin snack that is surely loved by both kids and the grown ups. Serve Spinach And Corn Sandwich Recipe Flavored With Sandwich Spread along with Tomato Garlic Chutney for the breakfast and a cup of Masala Chai. Number Of Ingredients 5

4 Whole Wheat Brown Bread
2 cups Spinach Leaves (Palak) , blanched
1/4 cup Sweet corn , steamed
4 tablespoons Del Monte Sandwich Spread
2 tablespoons Butter (Salted)

Steps:

  • To begin making the Spinach And Corn Sandwich Recipe Flavored With Sandwich Spread recipe, wash and add the spinach in a saucepan with some water. Cook for 2 minutes and then switch off the stove. Cool and finely chop the spinach and keep aside.
  • Collect the chopped spinach in a bowl and add corn kernels, 2 tablespoons sandwich spread and mix well.
  • Take a slice of bread, spread 1 tablespoon of del monte sandwich spread all over and place spinach mix generously all over the slice.
  • Take another slice and place over. Keep aside and make another sandwich from rest of the two slices.
  • Heat a grill pan or a grill sandwich maker with butter. Place the prepared sandwich and grill from both sides till crisp and golden in colour.
  • Transfer on a serving plate, cut into two diagonally and serve hot. Serve Spinach And Corn Sandwich Recipe Flavored With Sandwich Spread along with Tomato Garlic Chutney for the breakfast and a cup of Masala Chai.

  • Heat a pan. Add butter. Once butter starts to melt add flour. Stir using a spatula for a minute on low-medium heat. (Avoid burning)
  • Once the raw flavor of the flour is gone, slowly add warm milk. Whisk carefully to make a smooth mixture and avoid any lump.
  • Add salt and pepper as per taste. ( As cheese also might have salt add salt accordingly). Mix well.
