- In a bowl, toss strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar; set aside. , In a bowl, beat cream cheese, orange juice and remaining sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream; set aside. , Drain strawberries, reserving juice; set the berries aside. Gently toss cake cubes with reserved juice. Place half of the cake in a 4-qt. trifle dish or serving bowl. Top with a third of the cream cheese mixture, half of the strawberries and half of the grated chocolate. Repeat layers. Top with remaining cream cheese mixture. Garnish with chocolate curls and strawberries if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy; add sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and the almond extract; set aside.
- Fold the cool whip into the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently stir in cake pieces; set aside.
- Combine strawberries and sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Layer in a large glass bowl, starting with 1/4 of the strawberries, then adding 1/3 of the cake mixture.
- Continue layering; finish with strawberries.
- Cover with plastic wrap; and chill several hours.

- Cut angel food cakes into cubes. Mix pudding, milk, and cream cheese well. Mix diced strawberries, sugar, and strawberry glaze. Layer: Cake, pudding, strawberries, etc. until you get to the top and top it off with Cool Whip.

People always ask for the recipe for this when I make this wonderful strawberry dessert. It makes a beautiful presentation and it's very easy to put together. You can use low fat cream cheese and low fat whipped topping if you're watching calories.

- Slice and quarter strawberries, reserving a few for garnish.
- Add sugar to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Cream sugar and cream cheese.
- Add whipped topping and beat until light and fluffy.
- Drain about 3/4 of the liquid produced from soaking the berries; pour the glaze over and stir.
- Slice cake into 2-inch pieces.
- Fill a trifle dish or 9-inch deep glass bowl, with layers of the cake, strawberries and then the cream cheese mixture.
- Garnish with reserved strawberries.
- Refrigerate at least six hours before serving.

- Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions; cool completely. In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin and 3/4 cup sugar in boiling water. Mash half of the strawberries; add to gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, about 1 hour. Slice remaining strawberries; stir into the gelatin., Cut cake into 1-in. cubes. - Reserve 1/4 cup strawberries for garnishing; leave them halved or slice to your preference. Slice the remaining 7 3/4 cups strawberries; place in a bowl with white sugar and 1 tablespoon almond extract. Stir to combine.
- Pour heavy whipping cream into a bowl; beat until stiff peaks form.

- Cook the glaze following package directions, stir in the sliced strawberries, set aside.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar, then fold in the Cool Whip.
- Place half the cake pieces into the bottom of a large trifle bowl.
- Spoon 1/2 the cream cheese mixture over the cake.
- Place 1/2 the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese, then repeat all three layers.
