12 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1 (8 ounce) package whipped cream cheese
12 slices bacon, cut in half

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Stuff each jalapeno half with whipped cream cheese. Wrap a half slice of bacon around each stuffed jalapeno half.
  • Arrange wrapped jalapeno halves in a single layer on a medium baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven 45 minutes, or until bacon is evenly browned and crisp.

4 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
½ cup light cream cheese
1 tbsp crumbled cooked bacon pieces
2 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
1 small garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp finely chopped green onions
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp lime juice
Pinch of salt
Chives for topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place jalapeño peppers on a greased baking sheet.
  • Add all ingredients (except for the jalapeño peppers) to a small Magic Bullet cup or blender, and blend.
  • Use a spoon to evenly fill the jalapeños with the cheese filling.
  • Top with more bacon and cheese, if desired.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, until top is slightly browned.
  • Top with fresh chives and serve warm.

24 medium fresh jalapeno peppers
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
3 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese
1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise; remove seeds and membranes. In a large saucepan, boil peppers in water for 5-10 minutes (the longer you boil the peppers, the milder they become). Drain and rinse in cold water; set aside., In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Spoon 2 teaspoonfuls into each jalapeno; sprinkle with bacon. Arrange on greased baking sheets. Bake until filling is warmed, 3-5 minutes.

12 fresh green jalapeno peppers (2-1/2 to 3inches long) or 12 red jalapeno chiles (2-1/2 to 3-inches long)
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning, crushed
2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic (optional)
2 eggs
1 tablespoon milk or 1 tablespoon half-and-half
2/3 cup fine dry breadcrumb
guacamole or sour cream, for garnish

Steps:

  • Cover a large baking sheet with foil; set aside.
  • Cut each pepper in half lengthwise; remove the seeds and membranes (I always were plastic gloves for this, as the seeds are VERY hot, do not touch your eyes!).
  • Stir together the cheddar cheese, cream cheese and Italian seasoning and fresh garlic in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Spoon some of the cheese mixture into each pepper half.
  • Beat together the eggs and milk in a small mixing bowl.
  • Place the bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.
  • Dip each pepper half into the egg mixture; and then roll in the crumbs to coat all sides.
  • Place pepper halves (filled side up), on a prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes, or until tender and heated through.
  • Serve with guacamole or sour cream.

This recipe came from a friend of mine. She gave me the base for the recipe and I added an item or two being inventive. This is also good if lightly breaded. Even my kids like this and I hope yours does too.

12 medium jalapenos
8 ounces cream cheese
24 slices bacon
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper (cajun spice seasoning is better if you can get it)
4 ounces monterey jack cheese (finely shredded)
1 -2 ounce olive oil

Steps:

  • Set out cream cheese to let it get soft.
  • Take the jalapenos and cut in halves.
  • Make sure you remove all seeds and the enter membrane that the seeds are on.
  • Once the cream cheese is soft mix in the Monterey jack, cayenne pepper or cajun spice if you have that instead of the cayenne.
  • Fill each half with the mix and then wrap each piece with a slice of bacon.
  • Slightly oil cookie sheet with olive oil and place stuffed jalapenos on it.
  • Put in an oven at 375°F and cook until bacon starts to crisp.
  • Make sure not to cook to long, you don't want the cream cheese to become to soft.

2014-03-08 Wrap a piece of bacon around a jalapeno. Cut off excess bacon and secure the ends with toothpicks. Repeat for all remaining peppers. (I cut my bacon into 2-3 pieces lengthwise first to make it into more of a spiral than a wrap.) Bake stuffed jalapenos in a metal baking dish for 25-30 minutes, or until bacon is cooked to your liking.
