Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- In a small bowl melt the coconut oil and chocolate chips in the microwave or in a saucepan over low simmering water until melted.
- Stir until completely smooth.
- Wash and dry the strawberries but leave their stems on for easier grabbing or use a skewer.
- One at a time use a skewer in the center of one strawberry and dip in the chocolate and twirl around to coat.
- Lay them on a parchment paper lined or wax paper lined baking sheet.
- Coat all strawberries a second time.
- Sprinkle on any toppings of choice and let set for 10 minutes to harden a bit or place in the refrigerator.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Melt your chocolate in a double boiler or by using the microwave method.When the chocolate is melted and smooth carefully transfer it to your work area. Use a fork, skewer, or strawberry dipper to dip the first strawberry into the chocolate. Place the chocolate covered strawberry on the parchment paper and repeat with the remaining strawberries. Once the strawberries are dry and the chocolate has hardened repeat this process a second time if needed.

- Cut a strip of baking parchment and leave to one side. To melt the dark chocolate, fill a small pan with 2cm water and bring to a simmer. Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and rest it on top of the pan, ensuring the bowl isn't touching the water. Stir the chocolate to gradually melt it. Or, melt the chocolate in 20 second blasts in the microwave, stirring after each blast until melted. Put the melted chocolate in a small deep bowl.
- Gently hold the strawberries by the leafy top and dip into the chocolate. Tap off any excess chocolate and put on the parchment to set. If you have any leftover chocolate, pour it onto another strip of parchment and leave it to set, it can be used again.
- If you'd like to decorate the strawberries, melt the white and milk chocolate and drizzle lightly over the fruit.

- Cover serving tray in wax paper and place in freezer at least 30 minutes before preparation.
- Pour sugar free chocolate syrup into shallow bowl.
- Dip trimmed, washed, and frozen strawberries into sugar free chocolate syrup and place on chilled serving tray, spacing about 1/2 inch apart.
- Allow to chocolate to harden [about 30 minutes] and serve immediately.
- NOTE: This looks really pretty if you take some of the [washed] green strawberry leaves as garnish. Just lay them on the [already frozen] tray, and position a [chocolate-dipped] strawberry atop the leaf.

- Place the entire bag of chocolate chips in the glass bowl and microwave for 15 seconds. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir with the wooden spoon. Put the bowl back in the microwave for 10 seconds then stir and repeat. I needed to do 4-5 intervals of 10 seconds to get the chocolate completely melted. I know this might seem pointless and you might be asking yourself, “what difference does it make if it’s 10 or 20 seconds at a time?” The difference is liquid chocolate that stays liquid and liquid chocolate that solidifies. Be patient and do it right, wasting chocolate is a sin! When you get to the 4th interval stir the chocolate for a little longer. If after stirring for about 30 seconds not all the chips have melted in, microwave one more time for 5 seconds and that should do it. If you have an instant read thermometer the temp should not go above 90°.
- With the bowl slightly tilted so as to gather the chocolate to one side, hold the strawberry by the green leaves and baptize that strawberry in all that delicious chocolate. Hallelujah! LOL. Hold it over the bowl to allow the excess chocolate to flow back in the bowl then slide the bottom of the strawberry over the edge of the bowl to remove the rest of the excess chocolate. Place the strawberry on the parchment lined baking sheet and repeat this step for the rest of the berries.
- Once you have them all dipped if you’re feeling extra bougie, take a fork and scoop up some of the remaining chocolate. Move the fork quickly over the strawberries to create a decorative finish. The faster you move the fork the thinner the lines will be. Be careful not to fling chocolate all over.
