SUPER SIMPLE SWEET POTATO DOG TREATS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prick sweet potato several times with a fork.
• Heat sweet potato in a microwave on high until tender, about 6 minutes. Cut potato in half and scoop flesh out of the skin into a bowl; discard skin. Mash potato with a fork or potato masher and transfer about 1 cup to a large bowl. Save any remaining sweet potato for another use.
• Mix whole wheat flour, applesauce, and eggs in the large bowl with the sweet potato until a dough forms. Turn dough out on a well-floured surface and roll dough to about 1/2-inch thick. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter or cut dough into strips with a pizza cutter. Arrange cookies on an ungreased baking sheet.
• Bake until crisp, 35 to 45 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

HOMEMADE DOG TREATS (TANGO'S TREATS)

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
• Mix carrots, oats, and apple together in a large bowl. Whisk peanut butter and eggs until thoroughly combined in a second bowl. Pour into the oat mixture and stir until thoroughly combined.
• Drop 1 1/2 tablespoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheets. Flatten each treat with your hands until they are 1/2-inch thick.
• Bake in the preheated oven until treats are firm to the touch and begin to brown on the bottom, 15 to 20 minutes. Allow to cool a few minutes on the baking sheets before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

SUPER SIMPLE DOGGIE TREAT NIBBLETS

Steps:

• Mix dry ingredients then add in hot water.
• Mix with a fork or spoon until all ingredients blended (similiar to lumpy cake batter).
• Spoon by 1/2 tsp onto a greased/sprayed cookie sheet.
• Bake in oven at 350 for 15 min, let cool and then store if you can in an airtight container. Depending on size I made min a quarter size mound reduce or increase cook time).
• feel free to add in mashed leftover veggies that are safe for your beloveds. (no onions).
• Note- you can add more flour if too wet by TBSP to get a good consistency.
• --If you have beef broth already made use that and do not add in the water. When winter comes I keep a standby of chicken and beef broth in the freezer.
• - 15 min per cycle/cookie sheet.

• roll out the dough onto a cookie sheet and bake approx 8 min or until cooked through for a soft cookie consistancy.
• remove from oven and use a pizza cutter to cut 1x1 in squares.
• for crisper biscuits return to oven for 4- 5 minute.
• for soft like my babies like do not return to oven, let cool and then put into a container.
