TUNA AND MACARONI SALAD
This tuna and macaroni salad is a family favorite throughout the year. I like to make this the night before, refrigerate, and let the flavors blend together. Serve over lettuce or as a side dish.

COLD TUNA OR CHICKEN MACARONI SALAD
Even the most basic Macaroni Salad can be heavenly...until people start messing with the "formula" by doing vile things such as adding peas, cheese or worse still, Miracle Whip! I much prefer mayonnaise and assiduously leave out the peas and cheese...In addition I've lightened the original recipe a smidge with lower fat ingredients and whole wheat pasta...Serve over lettuce.

MACARONI TUNA SALAD
This macaroni salad is great for lunch on its own, if you don't feel like cooking on those hot summer days. It's also a wonderful side for grilled food. I have perfected it -- after making many different types of macaroni salad, this one is my favorite. Enjoy!!

Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink. Transfer the macaroni to a bowl, and cool in the refrigerator.
- In a large bowl, lightly toss the tuna with celery, onion, and about 1 cup mayonnaise until combined, then stir in the remaining mayonnaise, macaroni, olives, and grape tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let the salad chill in refrigerator 1 hour.

TUNA MACARONI SALAD
This recipe will remind you of growing up! My step-mother made this when I was little and it is still a favorite of my sister and myself. We are continuing the recipe and sharing it with our children. It is best when you let it chill overnight, but my family devours about half of it while it is still warm.

Steps:
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions so it will be "al dente".
- Add the frozen peas to the boiling water, with the macaroni noodles, during the last minute of the macaroni cooking.
- While you are waiting for the macaroni to cook: In a large bowl, wisk together 1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise & distilled white vinegar.
- Add celery & onion into mayo mixture and mix well.
- Once the macaroni & peas have been drained, add to the mayo mixture and mix well.
- You want all of the macaroni noodles to be covered in mayo, if it doesn't appear to be enough add a few tablespoons of mayo at a time until the noodles are completely covered.
- Flake tuna into macaroni & mayo mixture and mix well.
- Add salt & pepper to taste.
- Place in the refrigerator and let the flavors blend and soak in over night.
- In the morning, you may want to add a bit more mayo if the macaroni appears dry before serving.
- Enjoy.

SOUTHERN TUNA MACARONI SALAD
Creamy from eggs and mayonnaise, tangy and acidic from mustard, pickles and chow chow, with a nice crunch from celery and onion. The Cajun spice just rounds it out with a blend of spices, the pimentos add a pop of color and sweetness, and tuna complements and ties all the flavors together in this Southern macaroni salad. Could top with some parsley for added color! Put this in a tortilla or melt some cheese on toast and make an open-faced sandwich!

TUNA MACARONI SALAD
This is our version of an old Betty Crocker recipe. Again, since we are garlic freaks, we kicked up the garlic and tried other improvement. This is a great side dish or along. Great for potlucks.

TUNA-MACARONI SALAD
You pretty much already have everything you need to make this side dish, a great accompaniment to fried or grilled proteins. Some people love raw onion and celery, but you can leave them out or keep them in as you like. Make sure you use tuna packed in water. (Tuna in olive oil will make the salad too oily.) It's best chilled - don't serve it at room temperature - its creamy unctuousness balances out the heat (from spice or from cooking) of whatever it's paired with.

INDIAN TUNA (OR CHICKEN) SALAD
If you like Indian flavors, this is a fun twist on an old favorite. I was in the mood to make tuna salad but wanted something different, and when I didn't find a recipe that interested me, I made one up based on bhel puri chaat. The chutneys called for might not be standard issue in your pantry, but the store-bought ones do keep a long time and add a lot of flavor with no fat. The key to this recipe is the balance of flavors and textures. You need sweet and spicy, crunchy and soft. It's delicious and of course, it was easy. Serve on toasted naan, in sandwich wraps, tortillas, open-faced on toasted bread, or over greens as a salad.
