CINNAMON APPLE CAKE

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F) standard / 160 C (320 F) fan-forced. Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan with baking or parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add chopped apple and stir briefly to combine.
- In a separate bowl, add eggs, vanilla, oil and yoghurt. Whisk briefly just to break up the egg yolks.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and gently mix with a wooden spoon until combined - but be careful not to over mix. Spoon batter into prepared tin.
- To make cinnamon topping, combine cinnamon, sugar and butter. Mix together until lumpy and wet. Sprinkle over cake batter.
- Bake cake for approximately 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean. Transfer cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To make the glaze, mix together sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk. Stir until smooth. If the glaze is too thick, add an extra tablespoon of milk. Drizzle glaze all over the cake.

- To make cake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine granulated sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl. In a separate mixing bowl, combine eggs, apples, oil and vanilla. Add mixture to the dry ingredients, and stir just until well mixed. Batter will be thick. Pour cake batter into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. To make Caramel Sauce: Combine butter, sugars, and evaporated milk in medium saucepan over medium high heat. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil for 1 minute. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Cool. Cut cake and serve with caramel sauce. If desired, top with ice cream or whipped topping.

- Generously butter and line a 12 X 8 X 1 inch baking tin. Preheat oven to 180*C/350*F.
- Peel, core and thinly slice the apples and toss in the lemon juice. Set aside.
- Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add the butter pieces and rub in until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in the caster sugar and the grated lemon zest.
- Combine the egg and milk, mixing with a fork to break up the egg. Add to the dry ingredients, stirring with a wooden spoon to combine, then beat for 1 minute to get a soft cake batter. Turn the mixture into the prepared tin and spread evenly over the base.
- Brush the cake batter with the melted butter. Top with the apple slices in neat overlapping rows to cover all the batter. Scatter with the pecans, if using. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamona nd sprikle evenly over the whole surface. Bake for 40 minutes.
- REmove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm with ice cream.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, oil, orange juice and vanilla. Beat on high speed of an electric mixer until blended. Beat in flour mixture. Fold in chopped walnuts. Pour 1/3 of batter into prepared pan. Mix together chopped apples and cinnamon chips, and sprinkle 1/2 of mixture over batter in pan. Repeat layers, ending with batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar before serving.

- Preheat the oven to 200c/ gas 5
- Add the sugar and butter together in a bowl and mix together until both are combined and nice and fluffy
- Add the flour to the butter/sugar mix and combined together until it forms a gooey mixture
- Add the one egg and stir into the mixture. Add the other egg and stir all together. The mixture should be slight runny but still have a slight stiffness
- Add the cinnamon to the mix and stir well then add the peeled and chopped apple to the mix and stir together
- Put the mixture into the cake tin and place in the over for 30- 40 minuets until golden brown.
- Once cooked place onto a wire rack and leave to cool. Serve slightly warm for a better taste

- Grease and line the base of a 8in loose-based cake tin.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F ( 190 degrees C).
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the apples, water, cinnamon, cornstarch and fructose. Cook until apples are soft and mixture is thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Pour the apple mixture into a casserole dish.
