Ice cubes
2-1/2 ounces chocolate liqueur
1/2 ounce brewed espresso
1/2 ounce vanilla-flavored vodka
Coarse sugar
1 teaspoon chocolate syrup

Steps:

  • Fill a mixing glass or tumbler three-fourths full with ice. Add chocolate liqueur, espresso and vodka; stir until condensation forms on outside of glass., Sprinkle sugar on a plate. Moisten the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with water; hold glass upside down and dip rim into sugar. Drizzle chocolate syrup on the inside of glass. Strain vodka mixture into glass.

Steps:

  • Chill a Martini glass by placing ice in it
  • Put some ice in a cocktail shaker
  • Pour all the ingredients except the chocolate curls over ice and shake
  • Pour in a chilled martini glass
  • Garnish with white chocolate shavings and mint

1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
1 ounce Cafe Bustelo instant espresso or fresh espresso
1 ounce Godiva chocolate liqueur
1 ounce Kahlua or coffee liqueur
1/2 ounce Irish cream
chocolate syrup for rim and coffee beans for garnish
1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka or vodka
1 ounce Cafe Bustelo instant espresso or fresh espresso
1 ounce Kahlua or coffee liqueur
1 ounce creme de cocoa
1/2 - 3/4 ounce cream or heavy cream
chocolate syrup for rim and coffee beans for garnish

Steps:

  • Pour some chocolate syrup on a plate and dip a chilled coupe glass upside down in the chocolate to coat the rim of the glass.
  • Bring 1 ounce of water to a boil in a microwaveable safe measuring cup, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of instant espresso to the water, stir and set aside.
  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with no ice yet. Add the espresso last and then fill with a cup of ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and serve straight up in your chilled coupe. Garnish with espresso or coffee beans.

1 lemon wedge
2 tablespoons turbinado sugar (raw sugar)
2 tablespoons finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
4 tablespoons espresso, cooled
1 1/2 ounces best vodka, chilled
1/2 ounce creme de cacao
Long lemon twist

Steps:

  • Wipe the rim of a chilled, oversized martini glass with lemon wedge.
  • Pour sugar and chocolate into a saucer and mix well.
  • Dip glass rim in mixture and roll to thoroughly coat rim.
  • Over a large handful of ice in a cocktail shaker, pour espresso, vodka, and creme de cacao. Shake until frothy. Strain into prepared glass. Garnish rim with a twist and stand back.

6 ounces white chocolate, such as Lindt, chopped, plus more for grating, optional
1/3 cup vodka, chilled in the freezer
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups boiling water
3 tablespoons instant espresso powder
3/4 cup half-and-half

Steps:

  • Combine the water and espresso powder in a large measuring cup. Whisk to dissolve. Set aside to cool. Pour into 2 ice cube trays. Freeze until solid, at least 8 hours. Transfer the ice cubes to a resealable plastic bag and store in the freezer for up to 3 days.
  • Combine the half-and-half and white chocolate in a small bowl. Place over a small pan of barely simmering water. Stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes. Cool the chocolate mixture, whisking occasionally. Scrape the chocolate mixture into a blender. Add the vodka, sugar, vanilla and espresso ice cubes. Blend until smooth, at least 1 minute.
  • Pour into 4 large martini glasses. Garnish with grated white chocolate, if using, and serve.
