Steps:
- Brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
- Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces; discard tip. Mix remaining ingredients.
- Grill chicken uncovered 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 20 to 25 minutes, brushing frequently with honey mixture and turning after 10 minutes, until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut. Discard any remaining honey mixture.

- Preheat the oven to 425°F. In a mixing bowl, toss the wings with olive oil and spicy seasoning mix until well-coated.
- Spread the chicken wings out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake about 25 minutes until the skin gets crisp and lightly browned.
- While the wings are cooking, make the honey hot wing sauce. Melt the butter and honey together in a small pot set over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is pourable. Toss the honey butter with the wings and spread back on sheet tray; bake for 5 minutes more.
- Serve hot, with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dressing, for dipping.

- In a bowl, combine the flour, 2 teaspoons salt, the onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat.
- Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a pot until it registers 350˚ F on a deep-fry thermometer. Working in batches, add the wings and fry until browned, 8 to 12 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a rack set on a baking sheet.
- Whisk the melted butter, hot honey, vinegar and red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Add the wings and toss to coat.
EXTRA CRISPY HOT WINGS
I personally like my Hot Wings deep fried and extra crispy. I came up with this recipe after getting tired of the same ol' messy wings with goopy skin. Substitute with your favorite wing sauce, but I always preferred the tangy taste and slight kick of Crystal Hot Sauce. I usually mix Crystal Hot Sauce with a bit of Crystal Extra Hot or Tabasco.

- Take thawed chicken wing portions and place in ziplock bag.
- Pour hot sauce on wings for desired flavor and heat.
- Shake to coat chicken entirely.
- Marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Beat eggs in a medium sized bowl.
- Pour flour into the spare ziplock bag.
- Mix Old Bay seasoning thoroughly with flour.
- Add cayenne pepper (red pepper) for extra heat.
- Coat wings with beaten egg and then place in the bag with flour.
- Shake until wings are completely coated with flour.
- Place wings back in the refrigerator for approximately.
- 15 minutes so the flour will stick to the chicken.
- Preheat deep fryer to 370°F, or heat oil in a deep bottomed frying pan.
- Deep fry wings until a golden brown.

DETROIT HOT HONEY WINGS

- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
- Wash the wings well and pat dry with paper towel. Season the meat with cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken wings on preheated grill until cooked through and juices run clear, 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the wings. Brush the wings liberally using 1/2 cup of honey while they are cooking.
- Melt the butter, pour into a large bowl and mix in the remaining 1/2 cup of honey and hot sauce. Remove the wings from the grill and immediately toss them in the hot honey butter sauce to coat. Serve the wings 'wet' or return them to the grill for 1 minute per side to set the sauce.

CRUNCHY OVEN BAKED HOT HONEY WINGS

- Soak the wings in buttermilk, 4 hours or up to overnight.
- Pre-heat oven to 385 degrees.
- Drain wings in colander.
- Mix all dry ingredients (except chili flakes).
- dredge wings in coating mixture and place on greased tray or baking sheet.
- spray wings lightly with non stick spray to help them crisp and "fry" in the oven.
- Bake wings about 35-40 minutes until crisp and lightly browned.
- While wings bake, put honey and chilis in a saucepan over low heat. The honey will get thin very quickly and once it does you can turn off the heat.
- When wings come out of the oven, place wings in large bowl or plate and drizzle spicy honey mixture all over the wings!
- Dig in and enjoy!
