APPLE DUMPLINGS
Steps:
- Peel and core apples.
- Cut each apple into 8 slices each.
- Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll.
- Place in a 9 x 13 buttered pan.
- Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir, and pour entire mixture over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.
DELICIOUS APPLE DUMPLINGS
These are so quick and easy to make. I made them the first time for dessert with Sunday dinner and everybody loved them and were going for seconds!

- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Heat the butter, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside. Divide the crescent roll dough into 16 triangles. Roll 1 slice of apple with the dough and arrange on the prepared pan. Pour the butter mixture over the wrapped apples, then pour the citrus-flavored soda on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 40 to 45 minutes.

- Spray a 13x9 baking dish or pan.
- Peel and slice apples into 16 pieces.
- Roll each apple slice in 1 section of crescent roll.
- Place rolled slices in pan in two rows, put extras along side.

- Pour can of Mountain Dew over all.

- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add chicken, bouillon, celery, parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink inside. Reduce heat to low and continue to simmer.
- To Make Dumplings: While chicken is cooking, combine the flour, egg, sour cream, and chicken broth in a medium bowl. Mix well and roll dough out on a floured surface. Cut into small squares and drop into boiling chicken broth. In a small bowl, mix together corn starch and enough water to form a thin paste; stir into broth. Continue to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, or until dumplings are light and puffy.

YUMMY APPLE DUMPLINGS - DEE DEE'S

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium saucepan, combine margarine, sugar and orange juice. Let simmer while you peel, core and quarter apples.
- Roll each quarter of apple in a section of crescent roll. Place in a baking dish and pour liquid over the rolls.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Turn oven off. Let set 10 to 15 minutes longer in oven to continue browning.
