PARTY FRANKS
These tiny, tangy appetizers have broad appeal. I prepare them often for holiday gatherings, weddings and family reunions. They're convenient to serve at parties since the sauce can be made ahead and then reheated with the franks before serving. -Lucille Howell, Portland, Oregon

ZIPPY CHEESE DIP
I first tasted this dip in a cooking class at a local supermarket. It isn't necessary to add the eggs, but they give the dip a thicker consistency. -Diane Hixon, Niceville, Florida

NAN'S ZIPPY CALIFORNIA DILL DIP
This recipe evolved from what has been one of my favorites since my girlhood days. If there are any leftovers a big dollop is also very tasty on a baked potato or an omelette or in a bowl of tomato soup. Prep time noted doesn't include chilling time.
