3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons ground mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 large lemon, sliced
2-1/2 to 3 pounds miniature hot dogs or smoked sausage links

Steps:

In a saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender. Stir in the next 11 ingredients. Add lemon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until slightly thickened, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard lemon slices. Place hot dogs in a 13x9-in. baking dish. Top with sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until heated through, 18-20 minutes. Keep warm; serve with toothpicks.

Crispy and spicy potatoes coated in French fried onions and parmesan cheese. Easy, fast and great flavor! One pound equals about 3 medium potatoes. Potatoes can be stored for several weeks at temperatures of 45F to 50F in a cool, dry, dark place. Light causes them to turn green!

3 medium potatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch wedges (about 1 lb)
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 -2 tablespoon hot sauce, at room temperature
2 cups French's French fried onions, finely crushed
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

Preheat oven to 400°F
Place potatoes, butter and Frank's RedHot Sauce in large resealable plastic bag; Seal bag and toss potatoes to coat.
Combine Fried Onions and cheese on sheet of waxed paper.
Coat potatoes in crumb mixture, pressing firmly.
Arrange potatoes in single layer in shallow baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
Serve with more hot sauce or mix 1 C ketchup w/ 1 or 2 T of hot sauce for a spicy dip.

2 (15.5 ounce) cans Goya Black Beans or Low-Sodium Black Beans, drained and rinsed
¼ small red onion, finely chopped
¼ medium tomato, finely chopped
¼ cup packed fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon Goya Minced Garlic
1 Goya Pickled Jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
¾ teaspoon Goya Ground Cumin
2 tablespoons Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Goya Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Goya Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper, to taste
2 cups Assorted cut vegetables, for serving

Steps:

In bowl of blender or food processor, combine beans, onions, tomatoes cilantro, garlic, jalapeno, if desired, cumin, olive oil and lemon juice. Puree until smooth, about 2 minutes; season with adobo.
Transfer bean dip to bowl; season with Adobo, to taste. Serve with vegetables.

¼ cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 pound process American cheese, cubed
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon salt
2 drops hot pepper sauce
2 large eggs eggs, beaten
½ (16 ounce) package Crackers

Steps:

In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir over medium heat until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into eggs. Return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook and stir until mixture reaches 160 degrees F. Serve warm with crackers. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.

NAN'S ZIPPY CALIFORNIA DILL DIP

This recipe evolved from what has been one of my favorites since my girlhood days. If there are any leftovers a big dollop is also very tasty on a baked potato or an omelette or in a bowl of tomato soup. Prep time noted doesn't include chilling time.

1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (2 ounce) packet onion soup mix
1/2-1 teaspoon texas pete's or frank's hot sauce
1 tablespoon dill

Steps:

Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
Stir again before serving with raw veggies and/or rippled potato chips.

CRISPY FRENCH TOAST

2 cups Kellogg's® corn flake crumbs or 8 cups Kellogg's® corn flakes (crushed to 2 cups)
2 cups milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
8 slices stale bread
maple syrup

Steps:

1. Place KELLOGG'S Corn Flake Crumbs in shallow pan. Set aside. 2. In medium bowl, combine milk, eggs, sugar and cinnamon. Dip bread into egg mixture coating both sides of bread. Coat bread with KELLOGG'S Corn Flake Crumbs.3. On grill or in large fry pan coated with cooking spray, cook bread on medium heat until both sides are golden brown, turning once. Serve hot with warm maple syrup.
