1/2 cup Kellogg's® All-Bran® Original cereal
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped dried apricots
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted
2 tablespoons butter or unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup apple cider

Steps:

  • 1. Core apples. Peel 1-inch-wide strip from top of each.
  • 2. Stir together KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN Original cereal, raisins, apricots, pecans, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • 3. Firmly pack cereal mixture into apple cavities. Place in 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Pour cider over top. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F about 50 minutes or until apples are tender.

1/2 cup All-Bran® Original
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
3 egg whites
2/3 cup skim milk

Steps:

  • 1. In electric blender container, process all ingredients on medium speed for 30 seconds or until smooth. Scrape down sides of blender. Refrigerate one hour.2. Process refrigerated mixture 10 seconds or until well combined. Heat 7-inch fry pan over medium heat. Lightly grease or coat with vegetable spray. Pour 2 tablespoons of batter into heated pan, tilting to cover bottom completely. Cook until crepe is golden brown on one side and other side is set. Place on paper towels to cool. Stack between waxed paper. Serve warm with warmed pie filling or favorite filling.

2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
4 cups apples (peeled and chopped)
1 cup Kellogg's all-bran cereal

Steps:

  • Stir together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.
  • In medium mixing bowl, beat together the 1/2 cup margarine and the 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs. Beat well.
  • Stir in apples,All-Bran Buds cereal and flour mixture. Stir until thoroughly combined.
  • Spread evenly in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 350° F about 1 hour or until cake begins to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely.
  • Frost or dust with powdered sugar.

½ cup rolled oats
½ cup whole bran cereal
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup shortening
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Pour boiling water over oats and bran cereal, and let stand 10 minutes.
  • Combine the remaining ingredients, and add oat mixture to them. Pour into two 8 or 9 inch pans.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes. To make muffins bake about 15 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners.

1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup dried currant
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup buttermilk
3 tablespoons molasses
3 egg whites
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large apple, peeled and diced into quarter inch pieces

Steps:

  • Stir together all dry ingredients except currants; add currants, tossing to coat.
  • Whisk together wet ingredients; add diced apple.
  • Stir wet into dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Pour batter into greased 8-inch square pan and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until tests done (check halfway through baking time and cover with foil if cake is browning too quickly).
  • Let cool in pan for 25 minutes, then run a knife around the pan's edges and invert cake onto a wire rack.
