How to Make Celery Juice image

Even those who don't follow the latest and greatest diet fads have probably heard of celery juice by now. Influencers and celebrities are drinking it up and posting about it like crazy, insisting it's a cure-all miracle juice.

Number Of Ingredients 1

1 large head of celery

Steps:

  • Wash celery
  • Cut into 1-1.5 inch pieces (keep the celery leaves if possible)
  • Put into your Blendtec blender + vacuum system (optional)
  • Pulse to allow blade to engage celery
  • Blend until smooth, slowly increase speed until smooth. Try not to allow celery to bounce and hit the lid (easier clean up)
  • Strain with our Blendtec Nut Milk and Celery Juice bag (available on Amazon)
  • Drink immediately

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 Granny Smith apples, scrubbed, coarsely chopped
½ bunch parsley, coarsely chopped (leaves and stems)
5 celery stalks with leaves attached, coarsely chopped, plus more for serving
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
Pinch of kosher salt
¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper, plus more for serving

Steps:

  • Purée apples, parsley, 5 celery stalks, and 3 cups water in batches in a blender. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, gently pressing with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible (alternatively, run apples, parsley, and celery through a juicer and mix with 3 cups water). Stir in vinegar, salt, and ¼ tsp. pepper and add more celery stalks.
  • To serve, pour 4 oz. juice into an ice-filled glass and sprinkle with pepper.
