Warm and satisfying Carob Powder drink is a flavorful alternative to hot chocolate drink. Enjoy its amazing taste with only 5 ingredients.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons coconut milk
1 tablespoon carob powder
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or to taste
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix almond milk, coconut milk, carob powder and salt in a medium saucepan with a whisk over medium-high heat. Stirring until all lumps disappear.
  • As soon as the carob drink is heated through and not boiling. Remove saucepan from the heat and stir in maple syrup and vanilla.
  • Delicious served topped with vegan marshmallows or coconut whipped cream.

  • Combine milk and carob powder in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking to remove any lumps. Stir in honey and vanilla extract. Continue heating to desired temperature.

1/4 cup (25 gms) The Australian Carob Co. Roasted and Raw Carob Powder
2 tsps vanilla extract
1 tbsp maple syrup
13.5 oz 400 ml tin coconut milk

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients together in a small saucepan with 1/2 cup (125ml) water, stirring to combine. Place over a medium heat, stirring until mixture is at desired temperature.

  • To make it extra frothy and even more delicious, use a frother like this after you have warmed it up.
  • Top with whipped cream for an extra treat. So good!!
