STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE MILKSHAKE



Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved, plus 4 strawberries, hulled and chopped
3 tablespoons strawberry jam
2 tablespoons agave syrup
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2/3 cup milk
6 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature
3 cups good-quality strawberry ice cream

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the 1 pound strawberries with the strawberry jam, agave, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds, then transfer to a container. (The strawberry sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.)
  • In the blender, combine 1 cup of the strawberry sauce with the milk, cream cheese, ice cream and the remaining 4 strawberries. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  • For each serving, add 1/4 cup of the remaining strawberry sauce to a 12-ounce glass; swirl the sauce around base of glass. Fill to the top with the ice cream mixture. Drink immediately.

8 -12 ounces plain cheesecake (2 wedges, 4-6 ounces each)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 -2 pint premium vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk

Steps:

  • Combine milk, cheesecake, vanilla, 1 pint of ice cream in a blender and puree until thick and smooth.
  • If the mixture is too thin add more ice cream a little bit at a time and blend.
  • This milkshake should be thick enough to eat with a spoon if you like.
  • Pour into two glasses.

This is a no-bake cheesecake milkshake that is perfect for summer. The base is a layer of vanilla wafer crumbs and crushed Oreos sprinkled on the bottom of a glass. The cheesecake layer is made with cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, vanilla extract and powdered sugar. The final layer is sweetened whipped cream with more crushed Oreos mixed in it.This recipe makes one large glass but can easily be scaled down for smaller servings.

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar, or more to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Put the mixer on low speed, then gradually increase to high until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract and beat on high until everything is combined.
  • Add half of the whipped cream, beat on low speed for 20 seconds, then high for 20 seconds until it's nearly incorporated into the chocolate mixture.
  • Add the remaining whipped cream and beat on low speed for 20 seconds, then high for 20 seconds until it's completely incorporated into the chocolate mixture.
  • Pour the milkshake into two glasses and serve immediately!

Steps:

  • In a blender, add the cream cheese, ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, and graham cracker crumbs. Blend on high until completely smooth.
  • Pour into two tall glasses and top with whipped cream, cherry, and graham cracker crumbs.
