¾ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
2 to 3 teaspoons grated orange peel
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels

Steps:

  • PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
  • COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and orange peel. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat sugars, butter, shortening, orange peel, orange juice, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon, until creamy. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chunks and orange candies.
  • Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls about 3 inches apart onto ungreased large cookie sheet.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350º.
  • Beat 1 cup sugar, butter, 1 tablespoon grated orange peel and the egg in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon.
  • Stir in flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Stir in pecans and chocolate morsels.
  • Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls.
  • Mix 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon grated orange peel.
  • Roll balls in sugar mixture.

170g butter softened
90g soft brown sugar
90g castor sugar
2 medium eggs
320g plain white flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch salt
200g Chocolate Chips
Zest of 1 Orange (finely grated)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180C Bake Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together and set aside. Cream the butter, brown sugar and castor sugar in a food mixer until pale and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time on high until well combined. On a low speed or with a wooden spoon fold the flour into the creamed mixtre. Mix in the chocolate chips and orange zest and gently combine. Roll tablespoon sized pieces of dough into balls and pop onto greased or lined baking trays leaving an inch or so between to allow to spread. Using your hand or a fork gently pat the balls flat. Baking for 13-15 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack, store in an airtight container.

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons finely shredded orange peel
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup orange marmalade
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate
1 tablespoon shortening

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar. Beat until combined, scraping sides of the bowl occasionally. Beat in egg yolk and orange peel. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Using a 1 1/2-inch round cookie cutter, cut into rounds. Press your thumb into center and fill with 1/4 teaspoon orange marmalade.
  • Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets in a 375-degree oven for about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool. In a small saucepan, melt chocolate and shortening over low heat. Dip half of each cookie in chocolate mixture. Place cookies on rack to set.

1-1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, orange zest and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chips and walnuts. 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons (packed) grated orange peel
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1 large egg yolk
3 tablespoons whipping cream
8 ounces double chocolate chips (such as Ghirardelli)

Steps:

  • Position rack in center of oven; preheat to 350°F. Butter and flour large baking sheet. Whisk first 3 ingredients in medium bowl. Beat butter, sugar, orange peel, and orange extract in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in yolk, then cream. Add flour mixture; beat until dough comes together in moist clumps. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop dough by generous tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet, spacing 3/4 inch apart. Using moistened fingertips, flatten each to 1/2-inch-thick round. Bake cookies until golden, about 18 minutes. Transfer to rack; cool. (Can be made 3 days ahead. Store airtight at room temperature.)

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and orange zest. Stir the flour, baking soda, and salt together; mix into the creamed mixture. Stir in the white chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Stir together oats, flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl to combine.
