1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle cola-flavored carbonated beverage (such as Coke®)

Steps:

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Combine the cake mix and cola in a large bowl. Use a hand whisk to mix ingredients until light and smooth, about 3 minutes. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
Bake cake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Allow cake to cool before cutting.

½ cup finely chopped pecans

Steps:

Prepare cake in a 9x13-inch pan according to package instructions, BUT replace water with an equal amount of Coca Cola.
While the cake is still warm, prepare the Coca Cola Frosting.

1 small box (4 ounce) Instant Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients listed on back of cake mix box (eggs & oil - water not needed)
1 1/3 cups Coca Cola
1 stick butter
3 tablespoon unsweetened Cocoa
4 -6 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
2 cups packed Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans (opt)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Spray 9x13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Prepare cake mix according to package directions but instead of adding water, you will replace that amount with Coca-Cola. Add in dry instant pudding mix to the batter and mix as well. Pour batter into baking dish and bake according to package directions, usually around 35-39 minutes. Just before cake is ready to come out of the oven, start making frosting. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, start melting one stick of butter. Add in cocoa powder and heavy cream (or milk) and stir. Then stir in confectioners' sugar. Stir briskly with a whisk to get all the lumps out. Take mixture off the heat and add in vanilla extract. Once cake comes out of oven pour frosting over warm cake. Do your best to spread it out evenly. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, if using. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened., In a small bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk and vanilla until blended; add to flour mixture, whisking constantly., Transfer to prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean., About 15 minutes before cake is done, prepare glaze. In a small saucepan, bring cola to a boil; cook 12-15 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Stir in butter and cocoa until butter is melted; remove from heat. 1 container Snack pack chocolate pudding cup (Not the dry mix, Use the prepared pudding for kids, 3.25 oz container)
4 Eggs (Large)
1/3 cup Oil
1 1/4 cups Coca cola (Not diet coke or zero coke)
1/4 cup Chocolate chips (Optional, They should be coated in flour to prevent sinking to the bottom of cake)
2-3 cups Chocolate ganache frosting
2-3 tbsp Mini chocolate chips (For decorating)
2-3 tbsp Oreos (Finely chopped, For decorating)
1/4 cup Chocolate ganache (1:1 ratio, For drizzling on top of frosted cake)

Steps:

In a large mixing bow, add cake mix, pudding, eggs, oil, coca cola and mix until combined. The batter will be thick.
Stir in chocolate chips. This is an optional step.
Pour batter in a greased and floured rectangle pan (Dimensions: 9x13) and spread evenly with a spatula.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes or until an inserted toothpick in the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and allow cake to cool completely.
While the cake is baking and cooling, prepare the chocolate ganache frosting and chocolate ganache.
Once cake is completely cool, spread ganache frosting on top of cake.
Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chopped Oreos on top of the frosting.
Drizzle ganache on top of the cake and enjoy!
