Crab Cake Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

  1. white mushrooms
  2. crabmeat
  3. onions
  4. dry mustard
  5. parmesan cheese
  6. soft breadcrumbs
  7. parsley
  8. ground cayenne pepper
  9. black pepper
  10. garlic salt
  11. egg
  12. mayonnaise
  13. unsalted butter
  14. fresh chives
  15. lemon wedge


  1. preheat oven to 425f
  2. spray a 9x13-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray
  3. wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel to clean
  4. remove stems , set aside caps and chop stems to add to filling
  5. in a medium bowl , mix crabmeat , chopped mushroom stems , onion , dry mustard , 1 cup parmesan cheese , bread crumb , parsley , cayenne , black pepper , and 1 / 4 teaspoon garlic salt
  6. mix well and then stir in egg and mayonnaise
  7. use a small cookie scoop to mound filling onto each mushroom cap
  8. slightly flatten out the top of the crab mixture to form a crab cake on the top of the mushroom cap
  9. in a small mixing bowl , stir remaining 1 / 4 teaspoon garlic salt into melted butter and drizzle over the filled mushrooms
  10. mound a generous portion of the shredded parmesan cheese on top of each filled mushroom
  11. bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes
  12. serve hot garnished with chopped chives and a squeeze of lemon
  13. cooks
