CRAB-BRIE CHEESE BALL

Steps:
- In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Shape into a ball; set aside. Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a work surface. (Keep remaining dough covered with plastic wrap and a damp towel to prevent it from drying out.) Brush dough with butter. Repeat with remaining phyllo, brushing each layer with remaining butter., Place Brie in center of phyllo stack; top with ball of crab mixture. Bring up corners of dough around Brie and ball; invert and place seam side down in a greased 9-in. pie plate. Combine egg and water. Brush over dough., Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving with crackers.

- Combine the cream cheese, cheddar, Brie, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. With an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until incorporated. Add the parsley and continue to beat on low speed until just combined. Form the mixture into a ball and refrigerate until set.
- While the cheese ball sets, coarsely chop the pecans and spread on a rimmed plate.
- About 30 minutes before serving, remove the cheese ball from the fridge. Roll the ball in the pecans, pressing them firmly to the ball, until completely covered. Let soften at room temperature for 30 minutes. Serve.

This is a wonderful cheese ball. It is very easy to make and simply delicious. Whenever I make it for gatherings or work it always gets great reviews. Serve with an assortment of crackers.

- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic and Worcestershire sauce until blended. Stir in crab. Shape mixture into a ball; coat with chives. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate at least 1 hour., Preheat oven to 350°. Cut wonton wrappers diagonally in half; arrange in a single layer on ungreased baking sheets. - Roast whole head of garlic by slicing off the top of to expose tips, and coating entire head with olive oil. Wrap in foil and roast at 350 for about 30 minutes, until very soft. Cool and set aside,.

- Beat eggs, mayonnaise, milk, flour, and 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning in a bowl until smooth and creamy; stir Cheddar cheese and parsley into egg mixture. Gently fold crabmeat into the filling.

- 1. Using a collander covered with a paper towel inside, drain the crabmeat until nice and flaky and not moist.
- 2. Blend cream cheese, chives, garlic powder and salt.
- 3. Fold in the crabmeat and mix well.
- 4. Shape mixture into a ball (or a log) and then roll in pecans until the outside is coated.
- 5. Chill at least an hour. Serve with crackers.
