1 Tbsp olive oil
16 ozs sweet Italian sausage (links)
1 onion (peeled and diced)
2 cloves garlic cloves (peeled and minced)
2 cups canned San Marzano tomato (drained and roughly chopped)
1.5 cups whipping cream
salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
8 cups dried, short Pasta
0.5 bunch parsley (rinsed and roughly chopped)
Parmesan grated (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and use a wooden spoon to scramble the sausage. Cook, stirring frequently, until sausage is no longer pink, about 7 minutes.
  • Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook until the onion is soft and translucent and the sausage is light brown, stirring frequently, about 6 to 7 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, cream, salt and pepper. Simmer gently until the sauce thickens slightly, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, until al dente. Drain well.
  • Add pasta to sauce and cook, stirring, until pasta is heated through and sauce reaches the desired consistency, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Divide pasta among plates. Garnish with parsley and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

3 cloves garlic (minced)
16 ounces Italian-style diced tomatoes
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 cup half-and-half
½ teaspoon dried basil
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
fresh chopped basil (optional garnish)

Steps:

  • Cook the pasta in salted water Al Dente, according to package directions.
  • While pasta is cooking, brown the sausage and drain grease.
  • Add the onions and garlic to the sausage and saute for a couple of minutes.
  • Pour in the entire can of diced tomatoes and the tomato sauce and heat through.
  • Pour in the half-and-half and heat through. The longer you cook the sauce the thicker it will get so simmer it until it is the consistency you want.
  • Add the basil and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • Finally, mix the sausage sauce with the pasta.
  • Top each serving with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and fresh basil (if desired).

8 ounces uncooked spiral pasta
3/4 pound bulk Italian sausage
4-1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1-1/2 teaspoons butter
3/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package direction. In a large skillet, cook sausage in oil and butter over medium heat for 5 minutes. 2 tablespoons olive oil
3 shallots, chopped
2 large garlic cloves, chopped
1 pound sweet Italian sausages, casings removed
1 cup whipping cream
2 14.5-ounce cans diced tomatoes in juice with Italian seasonings
1 tablespoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
3/4 pound fettuccine
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oil in heavy large pot over medium-high heat. Add shallots and garlic and sauté until beginning to soften, about 3 minutes. Add sausages and sauté until no longer pink, breaking up with back of fork, about 5 minutes. Add cream; simmer 5 minutes. Add tomatoes with juices, sage and crushed red pepper. Simmer until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite. Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.
  • Return pasta to same pot; add sauce. Toss over medium heat until sauce coats pasta, adding reserved cooking liquid by 1/4 cupfuls if mixture is dry. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl; sprinkle with cheese and serve.

1 (12 ounce) package bow tie pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound sweet Italian sausage, casings removed and crumbled
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ cup diced onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can Italian-style plum tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
1 ½ cups heavy cream
½ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
  • Heat oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage and pepper flakes until sausage is evenly brown. Stir in onion and garlic, and cook until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes, cream, and salt. Simmer until mixture thickens, 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Stir cooked pasta into sauce, and heat through. Sprinkle with parsley.

1/2 lb medium pasta shell
5 links Italian sausage, cut into bite size pieces (I used chicken mozzarella sausage from Sam's Club)
4 cups fresh spinach (I imagine frozen would work just as well too)
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup rose wine (or whatever you prefer)
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup Italian cheese blend
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, brown sausage over medium-high heat in a large skillet with garlic and basil. Add spinach and stir until wilted. Pour wine into skillet and deglaze pan. Add tomatoes, and continue cooking until mixture starts to boil again. Turn heat to medium-low and add cream cheese. Stir until all cream cheese is melted and add Italian cheese. Drain pasta and add to skillet. Serve immediately.
