EASY CROCK POT BAKED POTATOES
Crock Pots are not just for main course. Crock Pots can be used to make tender and fluffy baked potatoes.

Steps:
- Prick each potato with a fork.
- Wrap each potato in a piece of aluminum foil with a slice of onion, butter, salt and pepper. Tightly roll the each potato up in the aluminum foil, tucking the edges as you go.
- Set aside and repeat with the remaining potatoes.
- Layer the potatoes in the bottom of your crock pot. You can stack them if need be. Large baking potatoes will fit in a 4 quart crock pot like I've used.
- Pour a 1/4 cup water into the bottom of the crock pot.
- Cook potatoes on high for 3-4 hours.
- Rotate the potatoes half way through the cooking if you have stacked them. For a single layer turn the potatoes at the half way mark.
- Top with your favorite toppings.

- Pat potatoes off to slightly dry them with a paper towel.
- Place each potato on a sheet of aluminum foil and sprinkle with a little pinch of salt (optional).
- Roll each potato in foil and place in the bottom of a 3.5 quart casserole slow cooker OR a 5 quart or larger oval or round slow cooker.
- Cover with lid and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until potatoes are tender when stuck with a fork.

Steps:
- Stab potatoes with fork.
- Wrap each in foil.
- Fill crock pot with potatoes.
- Cover and cook on High 2 1/2- 4 hours.
- Do not add water.
- Cooking time depends on how big your potatoes are.
- Use your best judgement.
- It doesn't hurt to cook them for the 4 hours.
- For large potatoes, I have cooked five to six on Low for 8 to 10 hours and they turn out perfectly.
