Cinnamon sugar-coated churro waffles are crunchy, sweet, and delicious. And they're topped with chocolate sauce, just like the real thing!

For the Waffles:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
11/2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cups butter (melted)
2 eggs (beaten)
2 1/4 cups milk
For the Topping:
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Optional: hot fudge sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream

Steps:

  • Gather your ingredients.
  • Whisk together the dry ingredients-flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  • Whisk together the melted butter, milk, and eggs in a liquid measuring cup.
  • Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and combine until all the dry ingredients are just moistened.
  • Cook the waffles on your waffle iron to your desired doneness. Keep them warm in a 250F oven while your finish cooking all of them.
  • Gather your topping ingredients.
  • Combine the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl.
  • Melt the butter and brush the cooked waffles with the melted butter on both sides.
  • Dust the waffles with the cinnamon sugar until they are completely coated on both sides.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments until completely melted. Then drizzle the chocolate sauce over the top of the waffles, and serve with whipped cream!

Bavarian Crepes, a very thin pancake-like dessert, are typically made from wheat flour or buckwheat flour, smeared with a sweet spread, rolled, and finished with your topping of choice (fruit, chocolate and/or whipped cream).

Yield 3 to 4 Crepes

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup of Breadtopia Einkorn Pancake and Waffle Mix (Whole Wheat Einkorn Flour, Organic Sugar, Baking Soda, Baking Powder and Salt)
2 Eggs
1 cup Milk
2 TBSP of melted Butter

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine mix, milk, eggs, and butter. Mix for about 30 seconds.
  • Let batter sit at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
  • Heat a nonstick or cast iron skillet over medium. Lightly coat with butter. Add 1/3 cup batter and swirl to completely cover bottom of skillet.
  • Cook until underside of crepe is golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Loosen edge of crepe with a rubber spatula, then with your fingertips, quickly flip the crepe.
  • Cook for about 1 minute.
  • Plate and add your favorite toppings. Then roll or fold.
