Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook breakfast sausage in skillet over medium-high heat until browned.
- While sausage is cooking, grease a 8-by-10-inch baking dish and evenly distribute the bread cubes along the bottom.
- Remove sausage from skillet with spatula and evenly layer sausage over bread in the baking dish. Do not drain the fat from the skillet.
- Add sliced potatoes to the remaining fat in the skillet and turn occasionally until lightly browned. Add browned potatoes to the baking dish, evenly layering over sausage.
- Evenly pour/smear cheese wiz over top of potatoes.
- Whisk together eggs, milk and ground mustard, adding salt and pepper to taste. Pour over top of casserole dish.
- Bake at 350 for 50 minutes, until center is set and puffy.
- Allow to cool slightly before attempting to cut. Serve drizzled with maple syrup.
KARDEA'S KITCHEN SINK COOKIES
These cookies are loaded with, you guessed it, everything but the kitchen sink! They've got chocolate chunks, white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, potato chips and pretzels. You know how I love a salty-sweet combo and I think you will too when you try these.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Beat the butter and both sugars in a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat on low speed until the yellow of the egg disappears, scraping down the bowl as needed. Add the flour mixture and beat on low speed just until everything is combined. Set aside a handful of chocolate chunks and chips for topping the cookies, then stir in the remaining semisweet and white chocolate along with the potato chips, cranberries and pretzels.
- Scoop the dough into golf ball-size balls using a medium-size cookie scoop (2 1/2 ounces each). Arrange the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 3 inches apart. Insert the reserved chocolate chunks and chips into the cookie dough balls. Bake until the edges of the cookies are crisp and centers are still soft, 16 to 18 minutes. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if using, while still warm. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
KITCHEN SINK EGG BAKE
This is a great way to clean out the fridge and repurpose ingredients you have on hand for a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. I like to use old bagels or croissants, leftover cheese cubes from appetizer trays, deli meats and extra veggies from dinner-but just about anything will work. This casserole can be assembled the night before and stored in the fridge (but note: the cook time will increase if you bake directly from the fridge).

Switch to a rubber spatula and fold in all of the remaining ingredients (bread, bell pepper, scallions, kale, Cheddar and ham) one at a time. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake, uncovered, until the center is firm and the top is golden, about 50 minutes.
- Cool the casserole for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK CASSEROLE
Chicken, veggies, Marsala wine and mozzarella come together to make a delicious, savory casserole. Sometimes I leave the cheese off and put out a bowl, so it can be added as needed. If you're planning on keeping leftovers, I recommend doing this so the cheese doesn't get gummy.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Stir the chicken broth, mushroom soup mix, mustard, and honey together in a bowl until thoroughly blended. Set aside.
- Spread the rice evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Cover the rice with a layer of ham, then the chicken.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in the onion, garlic, celery, and carrots; cook until onion is transparent and caramelized, about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, and cook 5 minutes more. Spoon the vegetables evenly over the chicken in the baking dish. Deglaze the skillet by adding the Marsala wine; cook and stir over medium heat to loosen any browned pieces of vegetables from the bottom. Let the liquid cool slightly, then stir into the chicken broth mixture. Pour the chicken broth mixture over the vegetables in the baking dish. Sprinkle with parsley, bay leaf, basil, cayenne pepper, and thyme. Cover the baking dish with foil.
- Bake the casserole in preheated oven until top bubbles, about 50 minutes. Remove the foil, and stir in the sour cream. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and bread crumbs evenly over the top. Bake, uncovered, 10 minutes more.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13x9" baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the butter in a large saucepan and melt over low heat. Take the saucepan off the heat and add brown sugar; stir until completely incorporated. Let butter and brown sugar mixture cool for 5-6 minutes. Slowly add in the vanilla and then add in the eggs one at a time, mixing after each one.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add half of the flour mixture into the saucepan and stir well. Continue to stir as you add the rest of the flour mixture.
- Fold in any add-ins that you want to include (chocolate chips, nuts, etc). Spread batter in prepared 13x9" pan. Bake for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bars comes out clean (be sure to not overcook, as they will not be soft and chewy if cooked for too long!).
- Let cool and cut into bars.

- Add the chorizo to a medium saute pan. Cook over medium-high heat until browned, crumbling the chorizo with a spoon as it cooks. Remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of grease in the saute pan, discarding the rest.
- Add the onion, potatoes and red pepper to the saute pan, and saute for 5 minutes until cooked. Add the garlic and saute for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant. Add spinach and saute until wilted. Pour the vegetable mixture into the mixing bowl with the sausage. Add 1 1/2 cups cheese to the mixing bowl with the sausage and veggies. Stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg whites, and black pepper until combined. Then add them to the vegetable mixture, and stir to combine. Pour the mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish or 9x13 baking dish, and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes and the top of the potatoes begin to slightly brown and the cheese begins to bubble. Remove and let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
