Frozen pound cake, pudding mix and whipped topping make this trifle easy to assemble...and true to its name. Any type of cake can be used. Then add your favorite berries or fruit and any flavor of pudding. - In a small bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. , Cut the cake into 1-in. cubes; place in a 2-qt. glass bowl. Top with raspberries and pudding. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Garnish with whipped topping and additional raspberries.

- Line a clear medium bowl with separated ladyfingers to cover inside of the bowl completely. Gently press fingers together at seams to set. Sprinkle fingers with sherry or orange liqueur. Spread with the fruit spread.
- In a second bowl, combine instant vanilla pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups milk. Pudding will be stiff. Fold in heavy cream until evenly incorporated. Fill bowl with cream pudding and top with almonds and berries.
- Trifle is set enough to serve, or may be covered and chilled.

- Break cake into chunks, and layer 1/2 into a trifle dish. Pour 1/2 the coffee over this, then 1/2 of the pudding cups, 1/2 the whipped topping, then 1/2 of the toffee bits. Layer again. That's it! Editor's Extra: You can get chocolate cake at many supermarket bakeries. But if you can't find it, this can be done with pound cake, bought brownies or Twinkies, or even frozen cakes. You can make your own cake and pudding, but it will take a tad longer.
