Delicious and healthy, this appetizer is a yummy way to eat green beans. The roll-ups can be prepared ahead of time, and guests always comment on how tasty and different they are.

1/2 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
15 slices white bread
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1 jar (7-1/4 ounces) roasted sweet red peppers, well drained
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup packed minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Place green beans in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; cook, uncovered, for 6-8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and rinse in cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Place the beans in a large resealable plastic bag; add salad dressing. Seal bag and toss to coat; refrigerate overnight. , Trim crusts from bread. With a rolling pin, flatten each slice slightly. Combine mayonnaise and mustard; spread about 1 teaspoon on each slice of bread. , Cut roasted peppers into 1/2-in. slices. Drain and discard marinade. Place three green beans and two pepper slices on each slice of bread. Roll up from a long side and secure with a toothpick. Brush with butter; roll in parsley. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Just before serving, discard toothpicks and cut each roll into three pieces.

1 (16 ounce) package frozen cut green beans
2 tablespoons brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a casserole dish.
  • Set out the bacon, green beans and casserole dish in a little assembly line. Lay out a half strip of bacon. place a small bunch of green beans (6 or 7) onto the strip of bacon and roll up into a bundle. Place the bundle into the casserole dish, seam side down. Repeat with remaining bacon strips and green beans. You can pack these pretty tight in the pan, just know that if the bacon is touching another bundle they take some prying to get apart. 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 cups shredded leftover roasted turkey
1 jar (12 oz.) HEINZ HomeStyle Roasted Turkey Gravy, divided

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Cook beans as directed on package; cool. Meanwhile, prepare stuffing as directed on package, except reduce water to 1/2 cup and butter to 1 Tbsp.
  • Unroll pizza dough onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray; press into 15x11-inch rectangle. Top with cheese, turkey, beans and stuffing, leaving 1/2-inch-wide border around all sides of dough. Drizzle with 1/2 cup gravy.
  • Roll up, starting at one long side of dough. Rearrange if necessary so roll-up is seam side down on baking sheet.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until golden brown.
  • Warm remaining gravy as directed on label. Cut roll-up into 9 slices. Serve topped with gravy.

1 lb Fresh French green beans (go for the long, thin beans (hericot verts))
6 slices center-cut bacon (sliced in half )
1/4 cup butter (melted)
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp coarse salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large pot, add the beans and cover with water.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 6 minutes.
  • Drain the beans and put them into an ice bath to stop the cooking process and cool.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat and cook the bacon for 3-4 minutes, turning half way through.
  • Drain bacon on paper towels.
  • Drain the green beans and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Wrap about 7 or 8 beans with a piece of bacon and secure the bundle with a toothpick. Repeat until all twelve bundles are assembled.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Using a pastry brush, baste each bundle with the glaze mixture, making sure to coat each bundle thoroughly.
  • Bake the green bean roll-ups for 15-18 minutes until the bacon is golden
