This is one of my family's favorites. This pork recipe is always tender and juicy. Serve with additional barbeque sauce for dipping.

2 (1 pound) pork tenderloins
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup barbeque sauce

Steps:

  • Prepare grill for indirect heat.
  • Season meat with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Lightly oil grate. Place tenderloin on grate, and position drip pan under meat. Cook over indirect heat for 30 minutes.
  • Brush tenderloin with barbeque sauce. Continue cooking for 15 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Allow pork to rest for 10 minutes. Slice pork, and serve with additional barbeque sauce for dipping.

I'm not lying when I say this is the easiest, Best, Healthiest Grilled Pork Tenderloin you'll ever make. The 30-minute marinade consists of pantry staples and the grilling process ensures a moist, tasty, hearty pork tenderloin every time!

1 ½-2 pounds pork tenderloin (see note)
juice of ½ lemon
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning blend (or ¼ teaspoon each dried basil, thyme, oregano, and parsley or rosemary)
¼ cup oil
½ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon cracked black pepper (or a pinch of finely ground black pepper )
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons honey

Steps:

  • Pat pork tenderloin dry with a paper towel.
  • Stir together lemon juice, garlic, dried herbs, oil, salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, and honey.
  • Pour half of the mixture into a large Ziploc bag along with the tenderloin. Press out excess air, seal the bag, and chill for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium and oil the grates.
  • Using tongs, transfer pork to the grill. Close the grill and cook 15-20 minutes, turning every few minutes to ensure even cooking and brushing reserved marinade over all sides of the pork half way through grilling.
  • Transfer to a cutting board to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

This is another favorite for me. Simple, lean, healthy and inexpensive. Goes well with green beans and perhaps a grilled Vidalia onion.

2 pork tenderloin
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
3 ounces extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons basil

Steps:

  • Trim any excess fat and silver skin from the tenderloins and place in a gallon size zip-loc bag.
  • Add the olive oil, garlic and basil, evacuate most of the air and seal the bag. Message until the garlic and basil is evenly distributed around the meat and refrigerate for 4 hours or more.
  • Remove the tenderloins from the refrigerator about 30 minutes prior to grilling. Preheat the grill to allow searing to take place.
  • Sear the tenderloins for 2 minutes on each side to seal in the juices and to provide grill marks. Reduce heat and grill for an additional 14-16 minutes turning after 7-8 minutes depending on how large your tenderloins are and how well done you like your pork.
  • This entree goes very well with fresh green beans and a grilled Vidalia onion.

  • Remove thin slice from top and bottom of onion and peel. Slice in half laterally. For each half, make 4 cuts from top toward bottom 1/2 way through onion. Season with salt and pepper and place small pat of margarine in center. Cut bacon strip in half and lay on top of onion. Wrap in foil and grill for 60 minutes at 350°. The onion will caramelize and become very sweet.

Cracked peppercorns, (white, red, green, black
1/4 cup basil leaves, fresh and julienned
1/2 cup virgin olive oil
2 ounce green pepper, julienned
2 ounce red peppers, julienned
2 ounce yellow peppers, julienned
1/2 ounce prosciutto, julienned
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. Clean pork tenderloin removing any side strap and silver skin. 2. Rub the pork with crushed peppercorns depending on how strong you would like the flavor. 3. Roll the meat in the basil. Place in a glass dish and strong you would like the flavor. 4. Combine julienned peppers and prosciutto. Place in dish with pork ands prinkle with the balsamic vinegar. Cover and marinate overnight. 5. Remove pork tenderloin from marinade. Squeeze off surface oil before grilling. Do the same with julienne peppers. 6. Oil grill with olive oil. Grill the pork tenderloin over medium coals. Baste with herbed oil (oil, basil, garlic) during cooking. Cooking time is 12-15 minutes. 7. Place the peppers in a saute pan. Add 2 tablespoons marinade. Sweat vegetables. 8. Let the tenderloin rest five miniutes after frilling. cut on the bias against the grain. Place cooked peppers on the serving platter or individual plate. Arrange sliced pork on top of peppers. Sprinkle with a little more of the drained olive oil. 9. 1/4 cup sherry wine (not cooking sherry)

2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon coarse grind black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine marinade ingredients in a plastic zipper bag.
  • Add whole pork tenderloin and marinate, refrigerated, for at least 6 hours, but overnight produces best flavor.
  • When ready to grill, let pork sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes, then remove tenderloin from bag and discard leftover marinade.
  • If you wish, for even grilling,"tuck under" the tapered ends of the tenderloin so meat is of equal thickness throughout while cooking.
  • For even more herb flavor, add some oregano and basil stems to the hot coals.
  • Oak chips soaked about 30 minutes are good, too.
  • Grill tenderloin about 5 minutes per side (all four sides, 20 minutes total) or until meat is still juicy and just faintly pink inside (remember meat will still cook a bit after it's removed from the grate).
