HOT RYES
I don't remember where I found this recipe but I like it because you can prepare most of it ahead of time and just pop them in the oven at the last minute.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix first six ingredients together.
- Spread mixture on 24 slices of party rye bread.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes and serve promptly.

HOT RYES
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Mix ingredients well and spread onto bread slices. Broil or bake at 375 degrees until bubbly. May freeze these ahead before broiling.
OLD FASHIONED WITH RYE
Steps:
- Put 2 cubes of brown sugar each in 2 Old Fashioned glasses. Add an ice cube and 2 ounces of rye whiskey and stir until the sugar cubes dissolve. Top each with a lemon twist and a few dashes of bitters. Serve immediately.
PARTY RYE ROUNDS
If you like cheesburgers or the cheesy casserole bake, you will LOVE this. This is a great finger food, good for any party. Warning: it tastes better than it looks.

- Melt Velveeta cheese into mixture.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and sausage. After beef and sausage are browned, add cheese. Mix often. Once all ingredients are combined spoon 1 tablespoon of the mixture onto each piece of rye bread. Arrange bread with toppings on a baking sheet.
