If you're looking for a fall cocktail, try this Maple Bourbon Sour. Bourbon is more popular than ever and it works so well with maple.

3 ounces (2 shots) bourbon
2 1/5 ounces (1 1/2 shots) freshly squeeze lemon juice
1 ounce real maple syrup
Rosemary for garnish

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker combine the bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup. Add a small sprig of rosemary. Add ice to just above the level of the liquid and shake for 10 - 15 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into rocks glasses containing large cubes of ice. Garnish with small sprig of rosemary.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 - 3 oz bourbon (depending on how strong you like it)
1½ ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
1 pasture-raised egg white
1 teaspoon maple syrup (you can certainly use more if you want it sweeter)
Dash orange bitters
ice

Steps:

  • Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker. Shake enthusiastically for about 1 minute - the mixture will become very frothy. Add ice, and shake again for 20-30 seconds.
  • Strain into an old fashioned or coupe glass. If some of the froth remains in the shaker just scoop it into your drink with a spoon.
  • Garnish how you'd like
