Millionaire Cranberry Salad image

Millionaire Cranberry Salad is the perfect sweet side dish or dessert to serve on Thanksgiving! The sweet and tart combination is a match made in heaven and will make you crave more!

2 cups vanilla yogurt
1 cup whipped cream
2 cups pineapple tidbits (well-drained)
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup pecans (Chopped - or walnuts)
2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
4 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup orange juice
Zest 1 orange
2 cinnamon sticks

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let it simmer 10 minutes.
  • Remove from stove and cool the sauce completely, it will thicken upon cooling.
  • Add all the SALAD ingredients to a large bowl.
  • Add 1 1/2 cups of the cooled cranberry sauce to the bowl with the salad ingredients and stir well. If needed add more sauce.
  • Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts and serve.

2 cups sour cream ((or plain greek yogurt))
2 cups pineapple tidbits (well drained)
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup pecans (chopped)
2 cups flaked coconut
3 cups Fresh Cranberries
¾ cup Sugar
1 cup water
1 Cinnamon Stick

Steps:

  • Combine cranberries, sugar, water and cinnamon stick in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer 10 minutes. Cool completely (sauce will thicken upon cooling).
  • Add 1 ½ cups cooled cranberry mixture from step 1 with remaining ingredients and stir well.
  • Let sit 4 hours or overnight.

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients,except Cool Whip in order in a large bowl.
  • After all ingredients are well blended, fold in the Cool Whip.
  • Chill for one hour before serving.

3 cups fresh or thawed frozen cranberries, chopped
1 can (20 ounces) unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 medium apple, chopped
2/3 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix first 6 ingredients. Refrigerate, covered, overnight., To serve, beat cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream and walnuts into cranberry mixture.
