MOM'S CHUCKWAGON BEANS
One of my Mom's most requested recipes. Great for large family gatherings, pot-lucks and cookouts! This is very hearty; not mushy at all. I've actually made this for a main dish since it's so filing. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Cook bacon.
- Brown ground beef with the diced onion.
- Place first 3 items in a large oven roaster (I use an Enamelware roaster).
- To this, add the 3 cans of beans; do not drain beans.
- Mix all other ingredients together in a medium bowl.
- Pour over meat and beans and stir well.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour covered.
- Remove lid or foil and bake for 20 more minutes.

My Grandma's Easy Baked Beans (Pork 'n Beans) made in your slow cooker or in your oven. Savory thick bacon with a little sweetness from the brown sugar. The only baked beans recipe I have ever really liked!

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in your crockpot, cook on low 4 hours. It can be cooked in the oven in a casserole dish with a lid for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

The very best Slow Cooker Cowboy Beans! This easy recipe is so hearty and filling and just perfect for chilly weather! Loaded with three types of beans, bacon, and beef, this family favorite is frequently served up at holiday gatherings, potlucks, and parties and is a must for game day.

Steps:
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain and set aside.
- Add bacon to the skillet and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until cooked through, stirring frequently.
- Add onions and cook an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until onions are soft and translucent.
- Add ground beef and bacon mixture to a large 6 quart slow cooker.
- Add pork 'n beans, drained kidney and white beans, ketchup, brown sugar and liquid smoke.
- Stir gently to combine. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high 2 to 3 hours, stirring as needed. If the mixture seems a little dry, add a few tablespoons of water.
- Serve with tortillas chips, corn chips, sour cream, cheese, whatever you want. Anything goes!

PORK-N-BEANS CAKE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour five 16 ounce cans OR two 8 x 4 inch loaf pans.
- In a large bowl, mix sugar, oil, eggs, and beans until smooth.
- In a separate bowl combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and soda. Add to bean mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in raisins and vanilla. Fill cans 2/3 full with batter, or divide batter into prepared loaf pans.
- Place cans or pans on a baking sheet. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a tester inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks before removing bread from cans or pans.

Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°.
- Add the bacon and onion to a 3 quart dutch oven or sauce pan (that has a lid) on medium heat.
- Sitr and cook until the onions are soft and the bacon is cooked. Remove the pan off the heat to a heat safe trivet.
- To the pot add the beans, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, ground clove and mustard and stir to combine.
- Cover and slide the pot onto the middle rack of your preheated oven. Bake for a total of one hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for the last 20 mintues.
- Allow the beans to cool a bit before serving.
