- Mix butter or margarine, cocoa, sugar, milk, and salt together in saucepan. Boil for 1 minute.
- Stir in oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to cool and harden.

- Combine margarine, sugar and milk; boil for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add vanilla and peanut butter.
- In large bowl, combine oatmeal and cocoa.
- Add cooled liquid mixture to oatmeal mixture. Stir well.
- When slightly thickened, drop on waxed paper, and cool competely.

- Combine sugar, butter, cocoa and milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir constantly and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the salt, vanilla and peanut butter and mix until well combined.
- Add oats and mix until full incorporated.
- Drop by spoonfuls or using a cookie dough scoop onto foil or waxed paper.
- Let cool before eating.
