2 very (very ripe medium bananas, roughly mashed)
1 box yellow cake mix (Betty Crocker Super Moist turns out best)
1 4-serving size package Jello banana cream instant pudding powder
4 large eggs (lightly beaten)
1 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F, with rack on lower-middle position. Grease and flour a bundt pan and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix and instant pudding powder. Whisk to loosen any lumps. Add eggs, water, and oil. Whisk just until incorporated. Using rubber spatula, fold in bananas just until combined; don't over-mix.
  • Pour into prepared bundt pan, lightly shaking to even out the batter.
  • Bake 35-45 minutes, or just until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few tender crumbs attached. Don't over bake.
  • Cool completely in pan on rack. Once cool, use very thin knife to separate cake from pan edges, if needed. Invert and remove cake.

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant banana pudding mix
4 eggs
1 cup water
¼ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup mashed bananas
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 dash vanilla extract
½ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
  • In a large bowl, stir together cake mix and pudding mix. Make a well in the center and pour in eggs, water, oil and mashed banana. Beat on low speed until blended. Scrape bowl, and beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until cake tests done. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
  • To make glaze: In a small bowl, combine confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla. Whisk until smooth and of a drizzling consistency. When cake is cooled, drizzle icing over cake with a zigzag motion. Sprinkle chopped nuts over wet icing if desired.

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup buttermilk
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups mashed ripe banana
1 (3.4-ounce) box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, (softened)
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 box Nilla wafers
4 medium bananas, (thinly sliced)
1 cup salted butter, (softened)
5 cups confectioners' sugar
1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, (thawed)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 3 (9-inch) round cake pans with baking spray with flour.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add oil, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract and beat on medium-low speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Beat in mashed banana.
  • Pour batter into prepared pans doing your best to fill them with equal amounts.
  • Place in oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes and then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Place pudding mix and cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat with a mixer set to low speed until smooth. Gradually add in cream and beat until mixture is very thick.
  • Arrange about 15-18 vanilla wafers on top of one of the cake layers. Use a spatula to spread half of the pudding mixture on top of the wafers. Top with 1/2 of the banana slices placed in a single layer.
  • Place a second layer of cake on top of bananas, and repeat layers: vanilla wafers, pudding mixture, and bananas.
  • Top with final layer of cake.
  • Make frosting. Beat butter in a large bowl until creamy. Slowly add confectioners' sugar, beating until smooth. Add whipped topping and beat until evenly mixed in.
  • Spread frosting over top and sides of cake. Decorate with vanilla wafers.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 3 days.

3 eggs (or as directed on box)
1/3 cup vegetable oil (or as directed)
2 -3 teaspoons bananas, flavor
1 cup water (or as directed)
6 ounces vanilla wafer cookies
1 (1 ounce) box banana cream instant pudding
1 cup cold milk
1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional)
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Mix the cake batter as directed on the box, adding in the banana flavor.
  • Pour half the batter in a greased (I use spray) 9x13" bake pan.
  • Put down one layer of Vanilla Wafers in the batter.
  • Layer on the rest of the cake batter, and bake as directed on the box.
  • Allow the cake to cool.
  • Blend pudding mix, milk, and sugar for 2 minutes.
  • Fold in Cool Whip until well mixed.
  • Cover the cake with frosting.
  • Decorate as desired with remaining Vanilla Wafers.
  • Allow to chill in the refrigerator until serving time.

1 cup water
3 large eggs
⅓ cup vegetable oil
4 cups milk
2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant banana pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
20 vanilla wafers, crushed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Mix cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a bowl until just moistened; pour cake batter into prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 34 to 38 minutes. Cool in the baking dish for 2 to 3 minutes. Poke several holes into the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon. Be sure to poke all the way through to the bottom of the cake.
  • Stir milk and pudding mix together in another bowl until smooth. Let pudding rest until it begins to thicken slightly, but is not fully set, about 2 minutes. Pour pudding over cake and spread evenly, making sure to fill each hole completely. Chill cake in the refrigerator until cake is cooled and pudding is set, about 2 hours.
  • Spread whipped topping over cake and sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers just before serving.

2 sticks butter, softened
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs + 2 egg whites
3 tsp vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
One 1.34oz box banana pudding mix
1 cup milk
Filling: Whisk together the following ingredients and refrigerate until assembling cake (~10minutes).
One 1.34oz box vanilla pudding mix
1 1/4 cups milk
1 cup Cool Whip (or whipped cream)
To brush on layers: Mix together the following:
1 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
1 Tbsp milk
You'll also need:
2-3 medium ripe bananas
3-4 cups Cool Whip for frosting
Step 1: Make the cake

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Prep three 8″ round pans by lining the bottom only with parchment paper. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Slowly beat in eggs and egg whites, one at a time. Beat in vanilla until well combined. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and pudding mix. Add into wet ingredients in three separate additions, mixing until just combined. Don't over mix! Stir in milk until combined. Divide batter and pour into pans. Bake 22-25 minutes or until cake is golden and begins to pull away from sides of pans. Allow cake to cool 15 minutes in pan. Loosen and remove from pan. Allow to cool another 1-2 hours on a wire rack. Step 2: Begin layering Level each cake. Place first layer on cake plate. Brush with a little milk mixture. Line banana slices on top of cake. Spread 1/3-1/2 of the filling mix on top of bananas. Place next cake layer on top of filling. Repeat with milk mix, filling, and final layer. Step 3: Frost This is the fun part. Frost with Cool Whip and decorate as you wish. I crushed some mini Nilla wafers and spread on top. Then used the wafers along the sides. Whew! Sounds super complicated, but it was simple to make. You may also want to put some Nilla wafers in between the layers. You know, if you're feeling extra fancy and decadent. Very important!!: Store this cake in the fridge
