2-1/4 pounds radishes, trimmed and quartered (about 6 cups)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°. Toss radishes with remaining ingredients. Place radishes on greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until crisp-tender, 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Tender, mellow, and lightly sweet, these air fryer radishes are an easy side dish and a healthy snack. Ready in 25 minutes; vegan, gluten-free, with an oil-free option.

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 ounces radishes (about 2 bunches), ends trimmed, quartered (or halved if small)
2 teaspoons oil, optional (Omit for oil-free, and use 1 tablespoon lemon juice.)
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
rounded ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
½ teaspoon lemon zest, optional
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F (193 C). In a mixing bowl toss the radishes with the oil (or lemon juice for oil-free).
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon zest, if using, and toss to coat.
  • Transfer the radishes to the air fryer basket (if using lemon juice be sure to leave it in the bowl). Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket after 6 minutes. Air fryers can vary, so check the radishes after 8 or 9 minutes. For crisp-tender radishes reduce by a minute or two, or cook longer for soft, tender radishes.
  • Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon, fresh parsley, or your favorite dipping sauce.

400 g radishes
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • Clean the radishes, and remove the stems. Cut them in halves, and coat with a thin layer of vegetable oil and some salt.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 180°C/356°F. Add the radishes to the frying basket, and air fry for about 10-12 minutes. Shake every 4 minutes to ensure that the radishes cook evenly.

I saw a recipe for baked radishes in a magazine long, long ago and the thought so intrigued me I just had to give it a try. This is my personalized version of the original. I often switch out the thyme with either rosemary, basil, or crushed garlic, depending on my mood and what main dish these will be served with.

2 bunches radishes, trimmed
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon ground thyme
salt to taste
½ lemon, juiced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Cut radishes into halves; cut any large radishes into quarters. Stir olive oil and thyme together in a bowl and toss radishes in mixture to coat. Spread radishes onto prepared baking sheet; sprinkle with salt.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until tender but firm in the centers, tossing every 5 minutes, 15 to 20 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice.

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon minced parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Wash, dry, and trim the radishes. Cut into halves or quarters, depending on how large the radishes are.
  • Add radishes to a small bowl with the oil, garlic powder, and salt and toss to coat.
  • Add radishes to preheated air fryer and cook for 12 minutes or until radishes are fork tender. Shake halfway through cooking.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley before serving.

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Separate greens from radishes; wash both well. Slice radishes in half; toss with 1 tablespoon each oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet, cut-side down. Roast until tender and golden, 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat remaining oil and vinegar and the garlic in a medium skillet over mediumhigh heat. Cook radish greens, tossing, just until wilted, about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with radishes.
