Found this gem on Kraft Foods website. I've tried a bunch of buffalo dips, but always found them kind of watery. This recipe solves that problem! This recipe has been modified according to my preferences.

6 ounces chicken breasts, cooked and diced
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
ranch dressing
1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce

Steps:

  • Spread softened cream cheese onto bottom of a shallow dish or bowl.
  • Mix together chicken and buffalo sauce in a separate bowl.
  • Top cream cheese with buffalo mixture, then sprinkle on cheddar cheese.
  • Dip may be served hot or cold. To serve hot, warm in oven or microwave to your preferred temperature.
  • Before serving, drizzle with ranch dressing and sprinkle with green onion. Serve with chips or crackers.

1/2 cup hot sauce

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

There are a lot of Buffalo chicken dip recipes but I feel certain this is one of the very best. Made with freshly cooked chicken, this is way better than recipes that call for the canned stuff. It's super rich and creamy with the perfect amount of tang. I highly recommend the optional blue cheese crumbles on top! Great served at room temperature so it's perfect for a party. Serve with celery and carrot sticks or corn chips.

1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
cooking spray
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
