This purple smoothie is bursting with antioxidants, thanks to the blueberries and frozen pineapple. My kids love the bright purple color, and it also freezes well for popsicles!

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 frozen banana (, cut into pieces)
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup frozen blueberries

Steps:

  • Combine the water, orange juice, banana, pineapple, and blueberries in a high-speed blender, and blend until very smooth. Add a splash more water, if needed to help it blend.
  • Pour into a glass and serve right away.

  • Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender that will blend up the frozen berries. Add all of the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Blend on high for at least 3 minutes or until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. Add more coconut water if it’s too thick. Taste; then add 1 Tablespoon of honey (or a little more as needed) if the smoothie is too tart. I usually add 1 Tablespoon.
