A savory cocktail to enjoy while watching Winter Games, made with Bulleit Bourbon, sage, fresh lime juice, and aromatic bitters

Ingredients

1.5 oz Bulleit Bourbon
8-10 Blueberries
.5 oz maple syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters
1 oz fresh lime juice
Sage Leaves

Steps:

Combine sage (leaving one leaf aside for garnish), blueberries, maple and lime juice in a mixing tin and muddle.
Add Bulleit Bourbon and shake with ice.
Fine strain into an Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a sage leaf.

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
8 cups coarsely shredded green cabbage (about 1/2 large head)
1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
1 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 carrot, coarsely shredded

Steps:

Whisk sugar, vinegar, and oil to blend in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours, tossing occasionally. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead. Keep refrigerated.).
