Juice of 1 lemon
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 pounds cooked shrimp, peeled, tails removed and cut in half crosswise
2 celery stalks, finely diced
2 scallions, thinly sliced
4 top-split hot dog rolls, outsides buttered and toasted
Lemon wedges, for garnish

Steps:

  • Mix the lemon juice, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Stir in shrimp, celery and scallions. Evenly divide the shrimp mixture among the hot dog rolls and serve with lemon wedges.

1-8 oz. tube crescent roll dough
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup cooked crabmeat, chopped or shrimp cooked
2 green onions, chopped
1/8- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray baking pan with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo, crabmeat, onion, and red pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Spread half the crescent dough on sprayed baking pan, cover with the seafood mixture and top with second half of dough. Bake until puffed and brown. Let sit for a few minutes prior to cutting Or for appetizer roll out each crescent roll separately and put a small amount of the seafood mixture in the center and roll. Then bake until puffed and brown.

1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup seafood cocktail sauce
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
24 cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

Steps:

  • In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, unroll crescent dough into a long rectangle; seal seams and perforations. Bake at 375° until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. , In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, dill and salt until smooth. Spread over crust. Top with the seafood sauce, green pepper, onion, cheese and shrimp. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into squares.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup margarine
1 egg yolk
¾ cup sour cream
¼ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Combine flour and butter in large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • In a separate bowl beat egg yolk and sour cream together with spoon. Add to flour mixture. Mix together well. Chill covered in refrigerator at least 4 hours. If you make this in the evening, store overnight.
  • Stir sugar and cinnamon together to use instead of flour for rolling dough. Sprinkle some over working surface. Roll about 1/4-1/3 of dough into circle about 10 inches in diameter, sprinkling with sugar-cinnamon mixture on both sides as needed both to roll and for taste. Cut in 16 pie shape wedges. Beginning at outer wide edge, roll toward center. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet close together, not touching.
  • Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until browned.

seafood cocktail sauce, to top each crescent

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*.
  • Seperate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle in half. Place 1 cooked shrimp in center of each small triangle; top with cocktail sauce. Fold into crescent shape; moisten sides with water; crimp sides in a decorative pattern.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown and slightly puffed.

1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Combine shrimp, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and milk and mix well.
  • Spoon 2 T of mixture onto the middle of separated crescent rolls dough.
  • Roll up as directed on package and place on baking sheet.
  • Brush rolls with mixture of egg and water and bake at 375 deegrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
