EASY SNOWFLAKE BUNS
Unique as a snowflake! Express your creativity with these easy do-ahead dinner rolls made from purchased dough.

Steps:
- Grease round pan, 9x1 1/2 inches. Arrange 8 balls of dough evenly around outside of pan; place 4 balls in center. Cover and let thaw and rise in warm place 2 to 3 hours or as directed on package.
- Heat oven to 350° F. Mix flour, butter and hot water. Place in decorating bag with #4 writing tip. Pipe mixture onto center of each ball in snowflake design, 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately lift buns from pan (do not turn upside down). Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with Reynolds® Parchment Paper, set aside.
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy with an electric mixer. Mix in egg and lemon extract until well blended.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually beat flour mixture into butter mixture until smooth. Divide dough in half; shape into 2 flat disks. Wrap dough in parchment paper; refrigerate 1 hour until firm enough to roll.
- Roll out the dough 1/8-inch thick between two sheets of lightly floured parchment paper.
- Cut dough with 2 to 6-inch snowflake cookie cutters. Place cookies 1-inch apart on parchment-lined cookie sheet. Decorate with colored sprinkles.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are just beginning to brown on edges. Cool.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk together in a small bowl, adding milk slowly until desired consistency is reached. Drizzle over cooled cookies.

- Fold a tortilla in half, then in half again and once again. Using a clean scissors or sharp knife, cut small triangles on folded and outside edges. Unfold tortilla; brush both sides with oil. - Brush the top of the Christmas cake with honey. Roll out the marzipan, then trim to fit the top of the cake, using the cake itself or the cake tin as a template. Lay the marzipan on top of the cake, then press down lightly.
- Lightly beat the egg whites with a fork, just to break them up, then gradually beat in the sifted icing sugar until you have an icing that forms soft peaks. Beat in the glycerine to stop the icing from getting too hard. Spread and thickly swirl the icing over the marzipan, then scatter with silver dragees. Decorate by wrapping round a silver ribbon and then the clear snowflake ribbon.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, cream the shortening with the sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Sift the flour and salt into the creamed mixture and stir in gradually. Chill dough for at least one hour.
- Roll the chilled dough out to 1/8 inch thick and cut into desired shapes. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 6 to 8 minutes. Allow cookies to cool before decorating.
