½ fluid ounce grenadine syrup
1 cup ice
1 slice fresh pineapple
1 maraschino cherry

Steps:

  • Fill a Collins glass with 1 cup ice and set aside in the freezer.
  • Combine gin, cherry-flavored brandy, triple sec, Benedictine, pineapple juice, lime juice, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker. Add 1 cup ice, cover and shake until chilled. Strain into the prepared Collins glass.
  • Garnish with slice of pineapple and a cherry.

3/4 ounce ginger sake
Soda water, for topping
5 Pickled Strawberries, recipe follows
17 ounces orange-flavored liqueur, such as Cointreau
12 ounces rice vinegar
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
2 ounces strawberry juice
1 pound strawberries, cleaned and hulled
2 pineapples, juiced

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker glass filled with ice, combine the vodka, Pineapple Reduction, pickling liquid, ginger sake and 4 Pickled Strawberries. Shake, then pour into a collins glass and top with soda. Garnish with 1 sliced Pickled Strawberry and serve.
  • Combine the liqueur, vinegar, lemon juice and strawberry juice in a medium bowl and whisk to combine. In a glass jar or resealable container, add the strawberries and enough pickling liquid to cover the strawberries completely. Let them pickle in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  • In a medium-size saucepan on medium heat, bring the pineapple juice to a boil and then reduce to a simmer and cook until a golden syrup develops. Strain through a fine sieve; cool and transfer to a reusable bottle.

½ cup cherry juice
½ cup lemon juice
½ cup cherry brandy liqueur

1 (6 ounce) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
46 maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • Dissolve the sugar in the water in a gallon-sized, freezer-safe container. Stir in the grenadine, cherry juice, lemon juice, cherry brandy, gin, pineapple juice, and lemonade concentrate. Freeze for 24 hours, stirring at least twice during this time.
  • To serve, place 1/4 cup of the slush in a a glass, and top with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a cherry to serve.

  • Pour the gin, cherry brandy and Benedictine into a mixing glass or a jug. Add the ice and Angostura bitters. Stir well until the outside of the glass feels cold.
