Steps:

For this design, you will need fresh flowers . a. Soak a 3/4 brick of OASIS® Floral Foam in water treated with fresh flower food. Insert into the base of a container. Tape into place with pottery tape. Push the LOMEY® Column into the Floral Foam. Take a pre-soaked OASIS® Netted Sphere and push onto the top of the Column. The hollow columnand the netting of the sphere work together, keepingthe sphere at the top of the arrangement and preventsthe round ball of foam from sliding down the clear column. b. Cover the standing pole with curly willow and securewith OASIS Bind Wire, which is covered with paper and blends well with the willow brances. c. Arrange flowers in the netted ball, including a small nest made of OASIS Rustic Wire. d. Always finish with Floralife® Finishing Touch® Spray tokeep arrangements fresh.

Florist foam (used for dried arrangements)
Knife
Two 6-inch terra cotta pots
2 to 3 large bunches dried wheat
2 to 3 large bunches dried rye
Thin wire (30 gauge)
2 pounds mixed nuts (pecans, walnuts, filberts)
Scissors or wire cutter
1 yard French wire ribbon

Steps:

Cut 2 pieces of florist foam into 2 1/2-by-3-inch cubes. Place 1 inside each terra-cotta pot. Mix the dried wheat and rye and divide into 2 bunches 3 to 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap and secure each one with wire about halfway down the sheath, and again about 1 inch from the bottom. Hold a bunch securely and press firmly into the florist foam, making sure it is straight vertically. Fill the pot with mixed nuts, mounding them at the center. Cut the ribbon in half, making two 18-inch long pieces. Wrap each ribbon around a bunch several times, covering the wire, and tie with a bow.

3 packages (12 ounces each) semisweet chocolate chips, divided
2-1/4 cups sweetened condensed milk, divided
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1/2 to 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 pound white candy coating, coarsely chopped
3/4 pound dark chocolate candy coating, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup ground almonds
1 each 6- and 8-inch Styrofoam cones or a single 12-inch cone

Steps:

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 package of chocolate chips. Add 3/4 cup condensed milk; mix well. Stir in orange extract. Cover and chill until firm enough to shape, about 45 minutes. Repeat 2 more times with remaining chips and milk, adding peppermint extract to 1 portion and almond extract to the other., Shaping truffles: Shape chilled mixture into 1-in. balls; place on 3 separate waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Chill 1-2 hours or until firm. , Melt white candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip orange-flavored balls in coating and return to waxed paper to harden. Melt remaining white candy coating again and dip balls once more to thoroughly cover. Let harden., Melt chocolate candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip peppermint-flavored balls in coating and return to waxed paper to harden., Roll the almond-flavored truffles in ground almonds. , Making the tree: Brush the Styrofoam cones with remaining chocolate if desired. Using toothpicks, stick 1 end into each truffle and the other end into the cone, covering entire cone with truffles.
