Gooey cookie bars, rich with chocolate, peanut butter and coconut.

½ cup butter
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
7 ounces flaked coconut
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup creamy peanut butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In one 13x9 inch baking dish, melt the butter. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the melted butter . Top with the coconut, then the sweetened condensed milk and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • In a saucepan over low heat melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Stir until creamy and pour over the baked bars. Let cool thoroughly then cut into bars. Garnish with more flaked coconut. Store bars in an airtight container.

1 1/2 cups/4.5oz/128g graham cracker crumbs(about 10 full sheet graham crackers)
1/2 cup/4 oz/8 tbsp unsalted butter
2 2/3 cups/ 7 oz flaked coconut
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups/12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F ( 325F for glass dish).
  • In a small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter; mix well.
  • Butter a 13x9 inch baking pan inside or use cooking spray.
  • Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom of the baking pan.
  • Top evenly with coconut then pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over coconut layer.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together.
  • Spread evenly over hot coconut layer. Cool for 30 minutes.
  • Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

1 cup (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups quick rolled oats

Steps:

  • HEAT oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with a no-stick cooking spray. Melt chocolate chips in dry, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100% power) 1 minute. Stir. Microwave at additional, 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until chips are melted. Set aside.
  • BEAT together brown sugar, peanut butter and butter in large bowl with an electric mixer, until smooth and creamy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat until well blended.
  • STIR together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to peanut butter mixture. Beat just until combined. Stir in oats. Press 3/4 of dough into prepared baking pan. Spread evenly with melted chocolate. Dot chocolate layer with remaining dough.
  • BAKE 24 to 26 minutes. Cool. Cut into 24 bars.

  • In a small bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, peanut butter and vanilla until light and fluffy. 1 1/2 cups + 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-2 cups confectioners sugar (using more or less to your taste)
3 cups semi sweet or milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper.2. In a small bowl, melt together 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and 2 tablespoon peanut butter in the microwave until melted. Pour the chocolate into the prepared pan and tap against the counter until the chocolate is in an even layer. Transfer to the freezer for 15 minutes to set. 3. Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter, vanilla, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar until smooth and creamy. Taste and add more confectioners' sugar to your liking.4. Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate layer into a smooth layer. Transfer to the freezer for 15 minutes to set. 5. Steps:
