Tropical Pineapple Banana Ice Cream Recipes

TROPICAL ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Whisk together cream, milk, pineapple-orange juice, and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Pour into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Five minutes before the ice cream is done, add the coconut and walnut pieces. Two minutes before the ice cream is done, add the sliced banana.

BANANA-PINEAPPLE ICE

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour into an 8-in. square dish. Cover and freeze for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until almost firm. , Transfer to a large bowl. Beat for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Return mixture to dish; freeze until firm. Remove from the freezer 30 minutes before serving.

PINEAPPLE BANANA "ICE CREAM"

Steps:

• In a blender or food processor (I used my Vitamix) blend frozen fruit until smooth and creamy.
• Enjoy right away!

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the evaporated milk, lemon juice, sugar, cream, banana, pineapple with reserved juice an the while milk.
• Freeze the mizture in an ince-cream freezer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Makes about 1 quart.

TROPICAL BANANAS FOSTER

Steps:

• Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar, nectar and rum; stir until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and boil until syrupy, about 4 minutes. Mix in ginger and nutmeg. Add pineapple, banana and mango and sauté just until heated through, about 1 minute. Let cool 2 minutes.
• Scoop ice cream into bowls. Spoon warm sauce over ice cream. Sprinkle with coconut, if desired; serve immediately.

• In a large bowl combine well the evaporated milk, the lemon juice, the sugar, the cream, the banana, the pineapple with the reserved juice, and the whole milk. Freeze the mixture in an ice-cream freezer according to the manufacturer's instructions.

TROPICAL PINEAPPLE BANANA BREAD

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8 1/2x4 1/2 loaf pans.
• Beat sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl on medium speed until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition until just combined. Stir in mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, and vanilla.
• Whisk flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon together in a separate bowl until well blended. Add macadamia nuts and stir until coated. Add flour mixture to the banana mixture; stir until just combined.
• Divide batter evenly between the prepared loaf pans.
• Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the centers comes out clean, about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
• Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack and allow to cool completely, about 20 minutes longer.

Steps:

• In a blender, place the first six ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Add ice cubes; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.
