Steps:
- Cut bread into cubes and set aside in a large bowl. (Bread crumbs need not be dried.).
- Peel onion and garlic cloves. Wash all vegetables and clean seeds from red pepper.
- Slice onions, garlic, celery, red pepper, and mushrooms, discarding the stems.
- Saute onions and celery in olive oil for several minutes, slowly stirring in half the spices (except for sage).
- Add garlic, red pepper, and remainder of spices, continuing to saute vegetables.
- Add mushrooms and continue to stir all vegetables as they cook. Add more olive oil as needed.
- Scramble eggs in a separate bowl. Remove vegetables from burner before onions brown.
- Add vegetables to bread cubes in bowl and stir. Add broth and continue to stir until moist.
- Add eggs and sage to stuffing mixture in bowl and mix until evenly distributed.
- Spray or wipe baking pans with olive oil. Place and distribute bread crumb mixture in pans.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake dressing mixture in hot oven for 20-30 minutes (uncovered).
- Remove stuffing from oven once it is crisp and lightly browned on top but still moist inside.
- Cover with foil and keep stuffing warm until it is ready to serve.

- Your breadmaker may require a little less liquid, start with only 1/8 cup water instead of the 1/4 cup listed in the recipe.
- Check the dough ball while it is kneading and add more liquid, one teaspoon at a time, if necessary.
- Put ingredients into your breadmaker according to manufacturer's directions.
- Baking time is however long your machine takes.
- To make a softer crust, put the finished loaf of bread into a plastic bag while still warm.

- Soften yeast in lukewarm water for 5 minutes. Combine wheat germ, whole wheat flour, dry milk, sesame seed, and salt. Blend oil, honey, warm water, and egg add to yeast mixture. Combine liquid and dry ingredients. Let stand 10 minutes, then mix well for 1 minute and fill 2 well-greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated 400° F oven for 20 minutes lower heat to 350° F and bake 5 minutes longer. Serve piping hot.

- 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Coat a 2 1/2- to 3-quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. 2. Combine all of the ingredients except for the apple juice in a large bowl, stirring well. Stir in the juice. 3. Transfer the stuffing to the prepared dish, cover, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until heated through. If a crisp top is desired, uncover the dish and bake for 10 additional minutes.
