Steps:
- Combine vegetable broth, butternut squash, mustard greens, cauliflower, broccoli, red bell peppers, carrots, parsnips, onions, celery, raisins, curry powder, ginger, cumin, and cayenne pepper in a large stockpot; bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 1 hour.

- Fill a large goblet halfway with white wine€, and then fill another quarter with your juice of choice, and finish with club soda. Garnish according to the juice, using zest, pomegranate seeds or apple slices.

- Place 1 each of cinnamon sticks, the clove studded zest and the star anise anise in the bottom of 8 champage flutes. Pour 1 oz (approx 1 tablespoon) of the pear nectar in each glass. Fill the glass 2/3 with Prosecco just before serving. Makes 8

- Fill a tall wine glass about halfway with ice. Pour in the Aperol and then the Prosecco. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Soften butter or margarine in microwave. Mix it together with molasses and eggs.
- Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients. Dough will be very dense.
- Pick up tsp sized ball of dough and roll into a ball in your hands.
- Roll rounded ball into extra sugar to coat.
- Place balls of dough on baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 F for 15 minute Cookies may seem crisp when they come out of the oven, but once removed from cookie sheet and stored they should be soft.

- In a saucepan melt the butter and add olive oil.
- Saute onions, celery and garlic until translucent but not browned. Remove from heat and place in a large stock pot.
- Add stock, potatoes, squash, turnips, carrots, parsnips and bay leaves then bring to a gentle boil over medium high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add apples, basil, thyme, pepper and salt to taste, mixing well.
- Ladle into prepared jars leaving a 1" headspace.
- Process pint jars for 75 minutes and quarts for 90 minutes at 10 lb pressure.
- Adjust pressure according to your altitude and / or style of canner.
