4 eggs, beaten until light and fluffy
4 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups milk
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 teaspoons almond extract
1 ¼ cups sliced almonds

Steps:

  • Beat sugar into the eggs in small amounts, assuring each addition dissolves completely before introducing the next.
  • Whisk cream, milk, vanilla extract, and almond extract into the egg mixture; fold almonds into mixture.
  • Pour into the container of an ice cream maker; freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.

1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoons almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour
3 tablespoons sliced lightly toasted almonds
1 tablespoon sugar for garnish

Steps:

  • Grease and flour 9 inch cake pan. Preheat oven to 350.
  • Toast almonds on a cookie sheet for 3 - 5 minutes while mixing batter.
  • Blend melted butter and sugar, and beat in the eggs. Add extracts. Add salt and flour and mix well. Spread into pan. Sprinkle with almonds and 1 tablespoon sugar.
  • Bake 30-35 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean.

1 stick margarine (soy free if needed)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Almond Extract
1/4 cup ground almonds
1 cup flour
1 cup sliced almonds, with peel
Baker's Choice cookie dip or melted chocolate

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixer bowl, blend margarine and sugar until the mixture is grainy.
  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the egg and almond extract.
  • Beat until fluffy. Add ground almonds and flour, and blend until just combined. Do not over-mix.
  • Pour sliced almonds onto a plate or work surface.
  • Form the dough into one-inch balls and roll them in the sliced almonds, coating each ball thoroughly. Place balls on an ungreased cookie sheet, two inches apart.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until cookies are slightly brown along the edges. Immediately transfer the cookies to a cool surface.
  • When the cookies are cool, drizzle them with melted cookie dip, or dip half of each cookie completely in chocolate.

2 Small Bag Siliced Almonds
1 Large Cool Whip
2 Large Pkg Vanilla Instant Pudding
2 2/3 Cup Milk

Steps:

  • Melt butter in cake pan add brown sugar, flour, coconut, almond mix well and bake in oven 350 degrees 15 -20 minutes till brown stirring a few times. Take out and cool. mix pudding and milk till thick than add cool whip until blended. Pour 1/2 pudding mixture into glass 8x12 dish sprinkle 1/2 almond mixture and then repeat finsih with the almond topping and chill.

2 cups moist almond pulp from making almond milk
⅓ cup rolled oats
¼ cup almond milk
3 tablespoons blanched almond flour
2 tablespoons coconut flour
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
1 tablespoon applesauce
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cacao nibs, ground
4 pinches ground cinnamon
4 dashes salt
1 dash ground nutmeg
¼ cup water
⅓ cup chopped vegan dark chocolate

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with lightly greased parchment paper.
  • Soak dates in hot water until soft, 6 to 10 minutes. Drain.
  • Combine dates, almond pulp, oats, almond milk, almond flour, coconut flour, coconut oil, applesauce, vanilla extract, cacao nibs, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a food processor. Process to the consistency of cookie dough, adding water if needed.
  • Roll 1 tablespoon of cookie dough with your hands. Pinch sides with your fingers to form a square. Place on the prepared baking sheet and press down with your fingers or a fork to flatten slightly. Repeat with remaining dough.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Let cool.
  • Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, 1 to 2 minutes. Drizzle melted chocolate over cookies.

150 g caster sugar

120 g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
30 g ground almonds
100 g baking chocolate

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugar together.
  • Add in egg yolks.
  • Whisk egg whites until smooth.
  • Fold in sieved flour, ground almonds, egg whites and the melted cooking chocolate.
  • Bake in a loaf tin for 350 degrees Fahrenhit or 180 degrees celcius for about 30 minutes.
  • For the topping, melt 200g cooking chocolate over hot water and pour onto cake.
  • Decorate with almond flakes and cherries.

I want to give a very big thank you to a Chef from here on " ZAAR " , who's recipe inspired me to make up my own recipe. :). The Chef who inspired me wants to remain nameless, so that's the way it will be. If you like almonds as much as I do, you really are going to enjoy this cookie.If you are using whole almonds chop them before measuring. Also if you like a cookie that has a sweet/salty thing going on, use the roasted and salted almonds. To flatten the cookies,use the flat bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.The way that this recipe is written gives me 32 cookies, depending on how big you make yours you might get more or less. The time for each cookie sheet is the time for baking. Please let cookies cool on cookie sheet for 2 to 3 minutes before removing, let finish cooling on wire racks. And thanks again to my " Secret Chef " . ( You know who you are ;) ) . Submitted to " ZAAR " on April 16th, 2009.

3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 large egg, room temperature
1 package (17-1/2 ounces) sugar cookie mix
FILLING:
1-1/2 cups slivered almonds
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
24 maraschino cherries, well-drained
Confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in egg. Add cookie mix; mix well (dough will be sticky). Shape dough into a disk; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm enough to handle., Place almonds and sugar in a food processor; pulse until almonds are finely chopped. Add eggs; process until mixture forms a paste. Add butter and vanilla; process until blended., Preheat oven to 350°. Shape dough into 1-1/4-in. balls; press onto bottom and up the sides of greased mini muffin cups., Place 1 Tbsp. filling in each cup. Top each with a cherry.
