1/2 ts Cinnamon
4 c Peaches; peeled and sliced
1 9" unbaked pie shell
2 1/2 tb Butter or margerine; melted
1/3 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar

Steps:

  • Mix together gently, peaches, sugar, salt and tapioca. Let belnd for 5 minutes before spooning into pie shell. Mix crumb ingredients well and sprinkle over pie shell. 2 tbsps flour
1 cup sugar
½ cup melted butter
5 fresh peaches, halved

Steps:

  • Combine egg, flour, sugar, and butter.
  • Fill the pie shell with fresh peach halves, cut side up.

  • Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 50 minutes.

1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups sliced peeled peaches
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Stir water, sugar, and butter together in a pot over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves and mixture has a syrupy texture, 5 to 10 minutes. Add peaches to syrup; bring to a boil.
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Stir milk into flour mixture until a stiff batter forms.
  • Drop batter by large spoonfuls into boiling peach syrup; cover the pot with a lid, reduce heat to medium, and cook until dumplings are set, about 20 minutes.

1 medium lemon, zested
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ¾ cups buttermilk
¼ cup lemon juice
2 large eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine sugar and lemon zest in a bowl. Using your hands, rub zest into sugar to release the natural oils of the zest. Add flour and mix well.
  • Whip in buttermilk, lemon juice, eggs, butter, and lemon extract. Pour batter into pie crust.
