- Drain pears, reserving 1/2 cup of juice. Puree pears in food processor or blender.
- Combine pears, reserved juice, yogurt, sugar, cinnamon and allspice in canister of ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturers' directions.

This frozen yogurt is so much easier than homemade ice cream! Just so you know, this freezes a lot quicker than ice cream. Also, if you want tart frozen yogurt, feel free to decrease the sugar!

- Stir the yogurt, sugar, and vanilla extract together until the sugar has dissolved. Cover. Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions until it reaches "soft-serve" consistency. Transfer to a one- or two-quart plastic container with a lid; cover surface with plastic wrap and seal. For best results, frozen yogurt should ripen in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.

LEMON CINNAMON FROZEN YOGURT
A Greek version of frozen yogurt based on a recipe from "Inside Toronto." Use an ice cream machine if you have one, but if not don't stress. Posted for ZWT 2013.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, add the cream, condensed milk, honey, vanilla, salt, zest, cinnamon and yogurt. Stir until combined.
- Cover and place in the fridge for at least six hours or overnight. Add the limoncello and use your ice cream maker to freeze the yogurt mixture or place in a container and freeze overnight.
- If using an ice cream maker, empty the contents into a plastic tub, cover and place in your freezer for a day/overnight.

- In the last 5 minutes of the maker's cycle, add the shredded coconut.
